The Pilgrims Housing in 87 Hotels in Mecca and Medina at the next Hajj
It was announced at the meeting of the Planning and Cooperation Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization that future Hajj pilgrims will be accommodated in 87 hotels in Mecca and Medina.
According to Hajj Information Base , at this session - which was chaired by Representative of Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab - The head of the Housing Committee of Hajj by saying that the number of hotels rented for accommodation of Iranian pilgrims has decreased compared to last year but has improved in terms of quality , added that 69 hotels in Mecca and 18 hotels in Medina have been allocated for the accommodation of pilgrims and contracts have been signed with the Saudi parties.
Mr. Morteza Asadzadeh, noting that the reduction of hotels number also has an impact on savings in the executive sectors, added: each province is assigned according to the capacity of the caravans and the planned arrangements.
In this meeting, the Representative of Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, pointing out that the pilgrims of the next Hajj will be organized and sent in 580 caravans, said: "Fortunately, the Housing Committee has performed well. And the accommodation of the pilgrims will lead to more satisfaction for the pilgrims.
Mr. Ali Reza Rashidian, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, also referred to the situation in Saudi Arabia these days, considering the prevalence of the coronavirus in the country, and said: activities related to Hajj are carried out according to the plan and scenarios is followed for different conditions.
Regarding to the Atabat-e-Aliat and Syria trips, health protocols have been prepared with the opinion of the ministry and related organizations and have been presented to the other parties to be signed with the reduction of coronvirus and will be implemented for pilgrims of two sides, He added.
The session went on with the statement of Supervisor of Hajj and Umrah Deputy Office to Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Akbar Rezaei who announced the registration of more than 58,000 holders of deposit bills until June 21, 2007 (Khordad 31, 1386) in the caravans of future Hajj and said: In terms of registration, the conditions of Provinces is different and registration continues to fill the empty capacity of the caravans.
At the beginning of the meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab honored the anniversary of the martyrdom of Motahhari and Teacher's Week and praised the efforts of teachers to educate the country's young generation and young people and hoped that the youth of this country would benefit as much as possible from the valuable books of this great martyr, which have been prepared according to the needs of the time.
The Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims also referred to the high position of Ayatollah Amini, who passed away on Friday, adding: He took responsibility anywhere who felt is needed and served Islam.
