Hojjat al-Islam Navvab:
Components of the Ashura cause in the discourse and manners of the late Imam (RA)

Representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, referring to the components of the Ashura cause in the Imam Khomeini's discourse and manners, said: enlightenment towards the way and revelation towards the enemy and its enmities was one of the thoughts of the late Imam who had inherited it from Imam Hussein (AS).

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base; Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab on the virtual conference "Ashura cause in the Imam Khomeini's Thought" which was held in the holy shrine of the late Imam (RA) on Monday evening (Khordad 12), referring to the words of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution about recognizing enemies and being vigilance and perseverance against them stated: Supreme Leader emphasizes that unlike those who consider it necessary to come short in the face of enemies, Imam Khomeini relying on his wisdom, considered retreating and softening towards the enemies, giving them the opportunity to advance.
The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, stating that the late Imam stood against the enemies throughout his blessed life, like a mountain, added: Enlightenment towards the path and revelation towards the enemy and his enmities was one of the thoughts of the late Imam which he had inherited from Imam Hussein (AS).
He further stated: Imam Hussein (AS) answered Marwan seriously and without the slightest retreat, when the ummah is caught by a ruler like Yazid who is a depraved man, nothing remains of Islam.
Referring to the acceptance of hardships and martyrdom and rejection of humiliation in the behavior of Imam Hussein (AS), Hojjat al-Islam Navvab noted: In response to Muhammad Hanafieh, he said: even If I have no refugee in the world, I will never pledge allegiance to Yazid ibn Mu'awiyah.
Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims emphasized: The late Imam (RA) after being forcibly expelled from Iraq and prevented from entering Kuwait, said: "The important thing is to do God's duty, and the most important thing is the interests of Islam and Muslims." Elsewhere, He said: "wherever I go, I say my words and also travel from airport to airport and from city to city to announce to the world that all the oppressors in the world have joined hands so that the people of the world do not hear voices of the oppressed."
In another part of his speech, the head of the Iranian pilgrims stated: the late Imam following Imam Hussein (AS), believed that a nation who has martyrdom does not have captivity. The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, referring to a word from the great Imam, emphasized that a nation that welcomes the danger of going in the way of God and martyrdom in God's way, considers happiness and a great success, no force can stand against it and that nation always wins and will continue to do so.
He considered benevolence and salvation as other characteristics of Imam Hussein's (AS) manners and said: Imam Hussein (AS) used to advise before the Ashura events and even in the battlefield.
