Noting that less than a month remains until the next Hajj, and Saudi Arabia's position has not yet been officially announced, Chairman of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization said: "A the meeting of the Supreme Council of Hajj has been requested to review the situation of the upcoming Hajj."

According to the Hajj Information Center, at the meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, Chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Alireza Rashidian said: at the meeting of the Supreme Council of Hajj, various possibilities and scenarios about the upcoming Hajj will be discussed. The meeting was chaired by Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.
Referring to pursuing the Hajj administration's affairs, including the registration and examination of pilgrims and organizing caravans such as the past, He said: even if Saudi Arabia announces in the coming days that there is no problem in accepting pilgrims, Iran is ready to send pilgrims to the land of revelation.
Supervisor of Hajj and Umrah Deputy Office to Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Akbar Rezaei and also supervisor of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center of the Red Crescent Society Dr. Seyed Ali Marashi, who was attended at the meeting, presented reports on the progress of measures taken in the executive and medical fields of Hajj.
Supervisor of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center of the Red Crescent Society said with the help of experts from the Ministry of Health, health instructions have been prepared for various departments.
If the Saudi position is officially announced, the Hajj and Pilgrimage Complex will work with the National Anti-Corona Headquarters on the issue of the upcoming Hajj, said Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs.
At the end of the meeting, deputy head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in Atabat-e Aliat affairs, Mr. Mohammad Azad presented a report on the corona issue prevalence in the pilgrimage cities of Iraq and Syria and measures were taken to prepare health protocols in the field of sending Iran's pilgrims and accepting foreign pilgrims.
He said: These protocols will be made available to the Iraqi and Syrian sides through the Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, so that sending of pilgrims can be resumed with the consent of the opposing parties in case of corona virus decreasing.
At the beginning of the meeting, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs pointed to the bravery and services of Hazrat Hamza along with the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and expressed his condolences on the anniversary of the death of Hazrat Abd al-Azam al-Hassani (AS).
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab by explaining the story of the two battles of Uhud and Hamra al-Assad, emphasized: the battle of Uhud taught Muslims that the result of obedience to the leadership is success and victory and disobedience to him is defeat.
He emphasized: "In the years after the victory of the revolution, we witnessed many times that while the enemy was intensifying the illusion of attack, the companions of the Imam of the Ummah and the Supreme Leader came together and followed the companions of the Prophet (PBUH) in the battle of Hamra al-Assad. They resisted pressure and regretted the enemy of decision to conspire against Islamic Iran.
