Surveying the strategies and approaches of the Arbaeen 99 ceremony
Representatives from more than 20 different organizations and institutions exchanged views on the strategies and approaches of the Arbaeen of Imam al-Hussein (AS) ceremony programs.
As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, The meeting of Arbaeen’s Cultural and Educational Committee was held in the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization with the presence of Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Abdul Fattah Navvab.
At this meeting, which was attended by the Chairman Hojjat al-Islam Hamid Ahmadi and members of Arbaeen Cultural and Educational Committee, and also Secretary of Arbaeen Central Headquarters Mr. Ahmad Mohammadifar , Arbaeen 99 Strategies and Approaches were reviewed.
The participants also exchanged views on the current situation and future plans regarding the outbreak of the coronavirus in the world.
At this meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Nvvab referred to the effects of coronavirus and the problems it has created and mentioned Arbaeen as a golden opportunity that the love for Imam Hussein (AS) and the Ahl al-Bayt has given to the followers of the Husseini school.
The representative of Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs also emphasized: this opportunity should be used comprehensively and fully, and Hosseini's wisdom, understanding and passion should be the focus of planning.
By stating that every year a model and program should be designed and presented for the Arbaeen ceremony for public understanding and use of people, He added: "The future Arbaeen is the first Arbaeen that will be held without the presence of General Haj Qasem Soleimani, so a suitable plan must be considered and designed for it.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab continued his speech by listing the seven recommendations of the Supreme Leader in the second phase of the revolution and considered the Arbaeen ceremony as a very good opportunity to plan and pay attention to these recommendations.
Pointing out that Imam Hussein (AS) says that learning knowledge fertilizes wisdom, he added: "Science and research as one of the main approaches of Arbaeen programs should be given priority."
Supervisor of the Iranian pilgrims also referred to the slogan of this year's Hajj as "Hajj, Spirituality, Solidarity and Islamic Authority" and said: the axes of this slogan were extracted according to the words and instructions of the Supreme Leader and you can look at the statement of the second phase of the revolution, select and highlight the slogan.
At the same time, he said: the Saudi Minister of Hajj has ruled out attending the Hajj ceremony for pilgrims who are not in Saudi Arabia, and therefore Muslims from different countries will not be sent to the land of revelation this year.
Addressing the audience, Hojjat al-Islam added: highlighting topics such as lifestyle, economy, national dignity, spirituality, ethics, etc. can be effective among the audience of the Arbaeen ceremony and attract attention at different levels.
Referring to the slogans and poems that were engraved on the clothes of the fighters during the holy defense, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also said: these days, there are examples of that slogans and quatrains on the clothes of health care providers who took care of corona patients in medical centers, which is effective in its place and evokes the atmosphere of communication between these loved ones and the Almighty.
The representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs asked the Arbaeen Cultural and Educational Committee to introduce and highlight some of Imam Hussein's companions who were influential and had high moral qualities, but they have been mentioned less in history.
Referring to the status of coronavirus in Iraq, including the cities of Karbala and Najaf, He said: Different scenarios were designed and there was a readiness to send pilgrims to Hajj with any capacity; for Arbaeen, this planning must be done so that the final decision can be made in time.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added: Arbaeen Educational and Cultural Committee and other committees of Arbaeen Central Headquarters should interact with each other and prepared for how to act according to the conditions ahead.
