Commemoration of Hajj and Mena martyrs in Behesht Zahra

Simultaneously with the Hajj week, the officials of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Department paid tribute to the memory of Mena tragedy and bloody Hajj martyrs in 1366 by attending the tombs of these precious martyrs.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, Simultaneously with Hajj week, Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab and Chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Alireza Rashidian along with his deputies visited the tombs of Masjid al-Haram and the tragedy of Mena martyrs and the martyrs of bloody Hajj in 1366 in Behesht Zahra (PBUH) yesterday. They also demanded the highest degrees from God Almighty for the pure souls of the martyrs.


According to this report, the officials of Hajj and Pilgrimage Department commemorated the martyrs of Masjid al-Haram, tragedy of Mena and the bloody Hajj 1366 by offering flowers and reciting Al-Fateha in memory of these martyrs.


The bitter tragedy of Mena occurred in Hajj al-Tamattu’ 1394 on Thursday ( mehr 2), coinciding with the day of Eid al-Adha, and led to the death of thousands of Muslims around the world in the land of Mena in Saudi Arabia. In this incident, more than 460 pilgrims of our country were martyred in Ihram clothes.


Supervisor of the Iranian pilgrims and Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization also attended the sepulcher of the martyrs of 7th Tir and Government and also honored martyrs Beheshti, Rajai, Bahonar and other honorable martyrs by visiting the Golzar of the Behesht Zahra Martyrs, Simultaneous with the Judiciary Week.


Officials of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Department also paid tribute to the memory of anonymous martyrs and the martyrs of holy shrine defenders by attending the tombs of these precious martyrs. They also paid tribute to the martyrs of firefighters by reciting the Al-Fateha and offering flower.
