Receiving the second stage of Hajj al-Tamattu' registration money to buy foreign currency

The second stage of registration money to buy foreign currency will be received from pilgrims who were to be sent to the land of revelation for the Hajj 99.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, at the meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, Chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Alireza Rashidian said: for the purchase of the remaining currency allocated to the pilgrims of Hajj al-Tamttu’ 99 and its deposit in Rials to the account of the Central Bank, the second stage of registration money will be received from the pilgrims.


This meeting was chaired today by Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.


It should be noted that according to the agreement of the government board, the currency allocated for Hajj 99 pilgrims will be kept as a deposit for next year's Hajj.


At this meeting also head of Management Development and Resources Deputy in Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Ghorban Mirzaei, reported on the total payments of pilgrims in the first stage and the transfer of the amount to the Central Bank account.


Pilgrims who paid the first installment must pay the remaining amount as the second installment and on account, considering the degree of the caravan they have selected and registered, He said.


Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs also considering the exchange rate purchased from the Central Bank, called at this meeting for accurate information in this regard to protect the rights of future Hajj pilgrims and stressed: In the current situation, this measure will lead to the stabilization of the foreign exchange cost of their travel in the future pilgrimage.


Mr. Alireza Rashidian also informed about this subject in a media interview and advised the pilgrims who have paid the first installment of the registration fee for the caravan, to pay the second installment to complete the purchase of the currency needed for the trip.


The head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization added: "If it is possible to register new pilgrims for the upcoming Hajj, they must pay the cost of buying currency based on the amount that will be approved."


According to this report, at the beginning of this meeting, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Navvab congratulating the birthday of Imam Musa al-Kadhim (AS), stated: each of the infallible Imams (AS) played the role that was expected in their time.


He referred to the statements of the Supreme Leader about the political-campaign life of The Fourteen Infallibles (as) in the book of a man of two hundred and fifty years old and said: "This book deals with the history of the lives of the Imams according to the historical context of the relevant period and in line with the goal of all these nobles."


Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs referring to the contemporary caliphs of Imam Kadhim (AS), added: The life of Imam Musa Ibn Ja'far passed completely in the Abbasid era and one of the challenges of his Imamate era was growing suspicion.


The purpose of this suspicious action was to create deviant debates, to keep people busy, to buy time and to advance their plans from the negligence of the society, but Imam Kadhim and his noble son Imam Reza (as) relying on the verses of the Qur'an and Islamic teachings confronted and responded to the real needs of society.
