Beginning of depositing the second installment of Hajj al-Tamattu’ registration fee
The pilgrims of 1400 Hajj al-Tamttu’ started paying the second stage of travel expenses to the land of revelation from today.
As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, was held today. The meeting was chaired by Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdol fattah Navvab.
The system for receiving the second installment of the Hajj al-Tammattu’ registration for next year activated from 10:00 AM today (Shahrivar 3) for 10 days to deposit this money, chairman of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, Mr. Ali Reza Rashidian, announced at this meeting.
Supervisor of Hajj and Umrah Deputy Office to Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Akbar Rezaei said in this regard: in the early hours of activating this system, the payment of the second stage of next Hajj al-Tamattu’ expenses was welcomed and a significant number of pilgrims who had paid the first stage; paid the second installment.
According to this report, the money from the payment of the second stage of the pilgrims' travel expenses to purchase the remaining currency required for Hajj al-Tamtyu’ 1400 will be transferred to the Central Bank account. The exchange rate is fixed for pilgrims who have paid the first and second stages of their travel expenses.
At the continuation of this meeting, the issue of holding a commemoration ceremony for the Mina and Mecca martyrs on the 2nd of Mehr (1394 year) was discussed with the presence of the Martyrs and Veterans Affairs Foundation representative and head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Headquarters of IRIB (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting). The ceremony was scheduled to be held in cyberspace with the participation of the Supreme Leader Delegation Office, the Hajj Organization and the Martyrs and Veterans Affairs Foundation, and also some radio and television channels.
At this meeting also Cultural Deputy in the Supreme Leader Delegation Office, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Hossein Rokn Al-Dini, explained about the plans that are done for the implementation of the epistemological training of the executive agents of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and the cultural servants of the Supreme Leader Delegation Office who are to be sent to 1400 Hajj al-Tamttu’.
The audiences of this project includes all the people who will be sent under the mission of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and the Supreme Leader Delegation Office, except the clerics and assistants of the caravans, he said.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage, referring to the secret of love and affection for Imam Hussein (AS) in the world, said: The life of Hussein Ibn Ali is instructive not only for Muslims but for all human beings and love for Imam Hussein (AS) is rippling through many intellectuals, religions and denominations.
He explained the behavior and life of Imam Hussein (AS) during the time of his noble father and brother and emphasized: at that time, Hazrat Seyyed al-Shuhada’ (AS) was a pure follower and obedient of the Imam of his time.
Hojjat-al-Islam Navvab added: Imam Hussein (AS) during ten years of his leadership that was accompanied by Mu'awiyah's rule did not take any action to respect the peace of Imam Hassan (AS), and with full vigilance while training real companions, he pursued a dignified policy.
But during the rule of Yazid, when the basis of Islam was seriously endangered and there was noa peace treaty, the attitude of Imam Hussein (AS) is very different and very instructive for the world and contains valuable points, he emphasized.
