During meeting with the head of Afghanistan Hajj was raised:
Strategic committees of Iran and Afghanistan will be formed

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, Dr. Aminuddin Muzaffar, Deputy Minister of Guidance, Hajj and Endowments and the person in charge of Hajj Affairs in Afghanistan and the accompanying delegation met with Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.
Hajj and Umrah Deputy to the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Akbar Rezaei and education director of Supreme Leader Delegation Office Hojjat al-Islam Mohammad Ali Akhavian was attended at this meeting.
Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs described the people of Afghanistan as very diligent people in various fields and said at the meeting: Afghanistan is a country that has trained valuable personalities throughout history, but has been affected by various events and unfortunately some of the conflicts have caused great wounds to the country.
He said that the Hajj organizations of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan have very good relations during the Hajj and exchange experiences, noting that the more such interactions in the field of Hajj between Islamic countries, will lead to the optimization of activities.
Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, pointing out that foreign pilgrims could not participate in this year's Hajj rituals due to the corona virus outbreak, said: the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and Supreme Leader Delegation Office have taken advantage of this opportunity by forming 21 working groups to discuss the pathology of Hajj and Pilgrimage issues in various fields.
At these meetings, the relevant experts and specialists, while pathology and reviewing the problems, presented the necessary corrections and changes, and these opinions were reviewed and approved in joint meetings with the presence of senior officials in Hajj Organization and Supreme Leader Delegation.
Afghanistan deputy Minister of Guidance and Hajj also said at the meeting: the Islamic Republic of Iran and Afghanistan are two brotherly countries that, in addition to many commonalities, have very good and long relations which have maintained throughout history and interactions of two countries are based on this neighborhood.
Lamenting the closure of Hajj due to the corona virus outbreak, he criticized the Islamic countries uncertainty regarding the upcoming Hajj and said: unfortunately, Saudi Arabia continues to keep the Islamic countries unaware and has not informed about the upcoming Hajj, this situation has confused the pilgrims.
Dr. Muzaffar said: considering the current situation, we have made efforts for optimization in various fields. 
He also emphasized Hajj activities are different in Afghanistan and Iran, because in Iran, the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization is independent, but in Afghanistan, the Ministry operates in three sections: guidance, Hajj and endowments.
At this meeting, Mr. Seyyed Hojjatallah, chairman of the scientific assembly, Mehrab Danesh and Gholamali Kalantari, advisers to the minister of Guidance, Hajj and Endowments of Afghanistan in the sections of guidance, mosques and endowments also expressed their views and opinions in order to exchange experiences between the two sides.
Hajj and Umrah Deputy to the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Akbar Rezaei also referring to the uncertainty in the future Hajj, said at the meeting one of the important issues for those involved in Hajj is to determine the status of Hajj because time is passing quickly and we are facing time constraints for planning and to date, we have no official news about whether or not Hajj will be held.
At the end of the meeting, it was decided to form committees of domestic and air transportation, nutrition and logistics, accommodation and dispatch, and with the presence of relevant experts and officials in the fields of education and research transfer of experiences was discussed and signed in the form of a memorandum of understanding between the two parties.
