Anti-Corona Headquarters reconsider banning Atabat pilgrimage trips

Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs at the meeting of provincial officials of the Arbaeen Cultural and Educational Committee called on the National Anti-Corona Headquarters reconsider the banning on pilgrimage trips to Atabat.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab at the meeting of the provincial officials of the Arbaeen Cultural and Educational Committee, which was held in the form of video conference, referring to the possibility of holding the Arbaeen ceremony, said: the Arbaeen cultural and educational programs are very important and effective, so the officials of Supreme Leader's Delegation Office in the provinces should make necessary plans in order to implement it.
He called changes and dynamism in the programs very important and referring to the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution emphasis on this important issue, stated: the key to the success of any complex is dynamism in programs and changes, so the officials should take the initiative to develop and strengthen the Arbaeen cultural activities, pursue practical and effective programs.
Referring to the injection of corona vaccine to a number of compatriots across the country, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs reminded pilgrimage trips and the implementation of spiritual programs have a great impact on the morale of the people and society and cause the strengthening of religious beliefs and increase positive energy in individuals. Therefore, considering the vaccination of a number of compatriots, it is suggested that the National Anti-Corona Headquarters provide pilgrimage trips in the form of expedition caravans of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization for the Ahl al-Bayt lovers, he added.
He emphasized now there are number of enthusiasts and pilgrims of Imam Hussain (PBUH) who go to pilgrimage trips with free caravans, which does not match the sanitation procedures and National Anti-Corona Headquarters decisions. Therefore, launching pilgrimage trips by observing hygienic procedures and in official and legal form by the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization can help implement the decisions of the National Anti-Corona Headquarters.
