Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization meets

Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was held in the presence of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs to review the report of working group for preparing Umrah trip.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization meeting was held under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.
At this meeting, the report of working group on preparations for launching Umrah, considering the corona virus pandemic and the cessation of sending our country's pilgrims to Umrah from Farvardin 1394, was reviewed.
After presenting the explanations of Mr. Davood Bagheri, in charge of coordinating the secretariat of 20 working groups in reviewing the executive processes in the field of Hajj and Pilgrimage, and Javad Daneshyar, in charge of these working groups, it was announced that in this report 17 processes, 71 activities, 156 actions, 11 files and documents was uploaded and 8 reform proposals have been proposed.
Chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Ali Reza Rashidian, announced at the meeting the number of people who have a registration form to be sent to Umrah as about five million and eight hundred thousand.
Hajj and Umrah Deputy to the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Akbar Rezaei also stressed the need to take appropriate measures and preparing for executive affairs in accordance with our country's policies and changes regarding Umrah travel and increase the number of Umrah companies in Saudi Arabia more than 15 times.
Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs also called on the various officials and managements of the Hajj Organization and Supreme Leader Delegation Office to prioritize the observance of pilgrims' rights in the planning and agreements that will be made with the host country after the Corona crisis.
According to this report, the proposals summarized in the Secretariat of the 20 working groups for reviewing the executive processes regarding the working group for the preparation of Umrah, were approved at the meeting with amendments.
According to this report, following the Hajj closure, 20 working groups for pathology in various fields have been formed with the aim of optimizing and improving the quality of processes in the field of Hajj and pilgrimage. The results of the studies conducted in these working groups will be discussed in the meetings of Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.
In the continuation of this meeting, Development, Management and Resources deputy of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Mohammad Azad, presented the preliminary report of the executive plans of the organization in 1400 and emphasized: the duties of units and missions of the employees are being updated in a clear and transparent manner, and the training and promotion of human resources in the areas of staff, organizational and brokerage has been considered.
Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs also reminded the importance of infrastructural activities along with thinking, planning and study and asked the Hajj officials to provide a comprehensive report on identifying the shortcomings and needs Hajj and Pilgrimage area and present it to this meeting within two weeks according to developments in the coming years.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab at the beginning of the meeting commemorated Dr. Beheshti, who was martyred in the explosion of Islamic Republic Party's headquarters on 7th Tir 1360, and said: Ayatollah Beheshti and his loyal companions were a beacon of enlightenment and values that was martyred by the enemy's conspiracy in the first years of the revolution.
Expressing that the enemy thought the revolution would be destroyed by such explosions and martyrdom of the Imam's companions, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs added: martyr Beheshti was very effective in the religious, political, social, research, scientific and educational fields before and after victory of the revolution. 
He expressed hope that the blood of martyr Beheshti and his companions and other martyrs of the Islamic Revolution would pave the way for further growth and greatness of Islam and salvation of the weak from the clutches of arrogant.
