Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was held in the presence of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs.
As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization meeting was held under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.
Mr. Mehran Farshid, Director General of Planning, Programs, Information Technology and Cyberspace Security Office of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, presented at the meeting a report on the actions and activities carried out in this field.
By designing more than 30 systems in various sectors, including housing, nutrition and logistics, transportation, budget, service desk, relief, missing persons, digital signature, pilgrimage, flight, Hajj excellence plan, etc. 80% of the organization's services are provided in virtual and by the end of the year, all of these systems, most of which have been implemented, will be operational, he said.
Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs also stressed the need for those involved in various fields to be familiar with the systems designed for proper use, and asked the Director General of Planning, Programs, Information Technology and Cyberspace Security Office of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization to provide the ground for it.
Chairman of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Ali Reza Rashidian also listed at the meeting the priorities in designing and producing these systems, and Hojjat al-Islam Navvab emphasized: the complex of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization are obliged to respect the rights of people and consider the cost and convenience of the pilgrim also to provide the desired services to the pilgrims.
Regarding Saudi Arabia's plans for the smart Hajj, he asked participants to study this issue and present their views at this meeting while respecting the rights of our country's pilgrims.
At the beginning of the meeting, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs considered the month of Dhul Qa'da as the basis for the month of Dhul Hijjah and said: Now that the corona outbreak has deprived Muslims from the land of revelation, we hope that the closure of Hajj will become an opportunity for good planning to optimize the programs and services of this spiritual journey.
