Reviewed at the meeting of Hajj officials;
Weaknesses and strengths of new plan to send pilgrims to Atabat

Weaknesses and strengths of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization’s new plan to send pilgrims to Atabat-e-Aliyat was reviewed at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, Weaknesses and strengths of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization’s new plan to send pilgrims to holy shrines was reviewed at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization which was held under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and Supervisor of Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.


At the beginning of this meeting, which was also attended by the officials of Supreme Leader’s representative offices in Iraq and Najaf Ashraf, Deputy of Management Development and Resources in Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Mohammad Azad reported on his recent visit to Iraq and the accompanying delegation with the aim of reviewing the new plan for Atabat-e-Aliyat and the presence of the organization's convoys in the cities of Najaf, Karbala, Kadhimiya and Samarra.


In the continuation of this meeting, Hojjat al-Islams Hossein Behjati and Hossein Kardan, officials of Supreme Leader’s Representative Offices in Karbala and Najaf Ashraf, referring to their field observations and talking to the managers and pilgrimage caravans’ pilgrims and those involved in the provincial dispatches to holy shrine, enumerated strengths and weakness of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization’s new plan.


According to this report, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs stressed the need to faster follow up the points raised in order to provide better services to pilgrims and said: every new movement has problems at the beginning, so the frameworks of this plan should be defined and implemented in order to avoid applying taste.


Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization also stated that one of the pillars of this plan have been transferring  ownership to the pilgrimage offices, added: Problems will be reviewed and appropriate executive solutions will be developed and implemented in line with the goals and policies of the Hajj Organization.


Mr. Ali Reza Rashidian emphasized: the focus of efforts in this direction is to observe the goodness and expediency of the pilgrim and spiritual goal that is followed by pilgrimage.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab emphasizing that in addition to providing good services to the pilgrim, his rights should be respected, reminded the problems in the way of preparing tickets for pilgrimage caravans of the Atabat-e-Aliyat and said: this issue should be investigated and a comprehensive report should be prepared and sent to the relevant agencies so that the violators can be dealt with legally by the responsible authorities if the right of the pilgrim is ignored and abused.


At the beginning of the meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab referred to a narration from the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) about the position of the believer, and commemorating the martyrs of Dey 19, he stated: In 1356, in the issue of insulting Imam Khomeini (RA), we witnessed that in a short time, first Qom, then Tabriz and then the country stood up and defended the late Imam (RA).


He reminded the divine victory and grace in the cases of Tabas, the sacred defense and the holy shrine defenders, and referred to the victories of the Palestinian and Yemeni fighters against the aggressors and said: they wanted to introduce the believing people as weak people who could not do anything , but in return, divine victory hit the aggressors hard in the mouth.
