Expressing that the practical and moral behavior of Imam Hossein (AS) is a lesson for all history, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said: following the practical and moral behavior of Imam Hossein ensures the prosperity of the individual and society.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, at the morning speech ceremony in Imam Hossein (AS) holy shrine, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab emphasized on the need to learn from the practical and moral behavior of that Hazrat and said: practical and moral behavior of Imam Hossein (AS) is a lesson for all history.

Noting that following the practical and moral behavior of Imam Hossein ensures the prosperity of the individual and society, he added: many of free thinkers in the world consider resorting to Imam Hossein (AS) an honor for themself and they consider the freedom of some countries as a blessing from the path of Imam Hossein (AS).

Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs mentioned the knowledge- increasing as the first behavior of that Hazrat and said: religion, especially the Shiite teachings, emphasizes on knowledge-increasing and says that man himself should be an expert in religion or imitate a religious expert or be cautious and choose the most difficult among experts' views.

Noting that personal opinion on religious issues is not a criterion, he said: in religious issue, we must either be experts, or if we are not experts, must be imitators, and if we do not want to be imitators and experts, we must choose the most difficult one by referring to the different jurisprudential opinions of maraji'.

Pointing out that all the Infallibles (AS) have spoken about knowledge-increasing, head of Iranian pilgrims mentioned the Imam Ali (AS) Nahj al-Balaghah as one of the important sources in this field, which contains many life-giving lessons and neglecting it causes losses.

He called the pilgrimage of Imam Hossein (AS) and Hazrat Abul-Fazl Al-Abbas (AS) enlightening and added: Imam Hossein (AS) used all his time to preserve the religion of his companions, and although he knew that all his companions would give their lives in the way of God, he did not miss the opportunities to increase their knowledge.

Hojjat al-Islam Navvab described the second moral behavior of Imam Hossein (AS) as freedom in choosing the path and added: "One of our mistakes is that we put pressure on people to justify what we think."

By saying that Imam Hossein (AS) did not tell the companions to stay, but told them to be free to go, and when he set them free, they chose correctly, he added: If you want to get your children interested in religious programs, do not take it hard, but do it yourself carefully so that they can learn.

Hojjat al-Islam Navvab mentioned the element of faith in divine promises as the third point in the Imam Hossein (AS) behavior and said: Aba Abdullah Al-Hossein (AS) believed in divine promises fully and addressed his companions on the day of Ashura: "death is nothing but a bridge that takes you from the shore of hardship to the shore of bliss and dignity and vast paradises and eternal blessings."

Introducing the book "Sayings of Imam Hossein (AS) from Medina to Karbala" written by the late Hojjat al-Islam Najmi, which contains very valuable points, he said: Some scholars of Qom Hawza have written a commentary on these valuable words and have written six volumes of a book entitled "together with the caravan of Imam Hossein".
