Hojjat al-Islam Navvab Stresses Need to Optimize Programs to Serve Pilgrims Better
Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the Supreme Leader's representative for Hajj and Pilgrimage and the head of Iranian pilgrims pointed to the role of pilgrimage companies and agents as a link between pilgrims and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, and emphasized the need to optimize programs with the aim of providing better services to pilgrims.
According to Hajj information base; Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, who was speaking today in a meeting with dozens of pilgrim agents in the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, said that it is necessary to hold specialized expert meetings with the presence of those involved in pilgrimage trips in order to follow up and optimize the programs of the Hajj and Pilgrimage area for better service.
He said that the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and the Supreme Leader's Representative Office in order to devise new ways and initiatives for the optimal implementation of affairs and programs during the coronavirus era formed 23 committees while benefiting from the cooperation of active people in the country compiled the book of Hajj and Pilgrimage Processes.
"This book, which includes things that should be taken into consideration in connection with Hajj, holy worship and cooperating institutions, is now available to executive and cultural executives and brokers," he added.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also pointed to the philosophy of holding these meetings and reminded the necessity of self-criticism and said that today's active companies do not perform well, they will go out of business with the arrival of rival companies.
He called on the companies that cannot help the pilgrims of the shrines of Imam Hossein (AS) to leave the scene.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab recalled the Holy Quran verse which says, "Say, shall we tell you of the losers in deeds, those whose efforts have gone astray in the life of this world, and they think that they are doing well?"
He pointed out hat God has given the instruction to remove the defect in verse 3 of Surah Asr, “Believe and do righteous deeds, and exhort one another to truth, and exhort one another to patience.”
The Supreme Leader's representative said that in this case, a person will move forward with kindness on the path that is placed before him.
He said that Martyr General Hajj Qassem Soleimani, whom people always remember well, did not think of himself in the things he did, but thought of solving other people's problems, and God also honored that great martyr.
Based on this report, in the continuation of this meeting, which was attended by Mr. Seyed Sadeq Hosseini, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and the officials of the Supreme Leader's representative office, several managers of pilgrimage companies from different provinces expressed their opinions about the ways out.
They discussed the problems of pilgrimages and the way of sending caravans for holy pilgrimage and Hajj, and more interaction of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization with companies active in this field, stabilization of exchange rates during the periods of sending pilgrimages, and more monitoring to improve services in nutrition departments and described accommodation and transportation as necessary.
