Imam Hossein (AS) school; clear example and practical treasure of the explanation jihad
Referring to the sacrifice and dedication of Hossein bin Ali (AS) in explaining and enlightening the truths and religious teachings during his journey to Karbala, Supreme Leader’s Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab said at the conference of clerics and praisers of Tehran region that the uprising of Ashura and the school of Imam Hossein is a clear example and practical treasure of Jihad of explanation
According to Hajj Information Base, Supreme Leader’s Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab said these statements at the conference of clerics and praisers of Tehran region, which was held Thursday (4th Esfand ) in the conference hall of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.
Referring to Imam Hossain's sacrifice in defending the truth and clarifying the truths and teachings of religion during his journey to Karbala, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said: Ashura uprising and Imam Hossein’s school were a clear example and practical treasure of the jihad of explanation.
At the beginning of this meeting, while congratulating the birthday of Imam Hossain (AS) and the Day of the Guardian (Pasdar), Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed out the importance of educational work in the verses and hadiths and its effects society and said: among all human works and activities that lead to production or services, educational work is the most valuable.
Stating that the foundation of the world is based on human education, he stated: throughout history, the purpose of sending messengers, sending divine books and installing the infallible Imam was to educate human beings and to use their abilities and talents to become divine caliph.
Reminding the importance and philosophy of education in the system of creation and social engineering in the divine system, Supreme Leader’s Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs added: Almighty God not only sends greetings and salutations to educational teachers in passages of Surah Safat with interpretations such as Hello Ali Ibrahim and Hello Ali Al Yasin, but also sets conditions for the community's educational teachers. Almighty God entrusts the guidance and training of humans in the world to a person who tasted servitude more than others and provided the foundations for self-improvement.
In another part of his speech, head of the Iranian pilgrims pointed out the importance of time and place conditions in education and self-improvement and said: The month of Sha'ban is the month of self-improvement, self-cultivation and refinement, and the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as a good example and a model of knowledge and the morals of the Islamic Ummah always honored the month of Sha'ban until the end of their lives. We should appreciate this valuable opportunity and in this holy month take steps towards self-improvement and cultivation and implementation of the tradition of the Prophet as much as possible.
Referring to examples of the sufferings and hardships of prophets throughout history in the way of propagating and explaining divine truths and teachings, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said: humanity and society had never the capacity and readiness to accept divine teachings and truths as much as today. In the past centuries, the lack of growth and development and maturity of humanity not only hindered the acceptance of divine prophets, but also provided the basis for their persecution, so that Prophet Noah (PBUH) guided only 80 people to the right path during his long life.
In today's society, young people are fond of Islam and Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and we should appreciate this unique opportunity and use it for the advancement and education of the society, he emphasized.
The Head of Iranian Pilgrims went on to talk about the educational method of Imam Hossein (AS) as a guiding light and lifeboat and advised the attendees: knowing the best ways to influence the pilgrims and educate them is the most important concern of the cultural servants of Atabat-e-Aliyat.
The cultural servants of Imam Hossein pilgrims should follow the example of that imam who walked with his whole being and his family in the path of liberating and guiding humanity and by recognizing the capacity and talent of the pilgrims and respecting the subtleties of the expression of divine teachings, should provide basis and attraction for the acceptance of the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.) among them.
Imam Hossain (AS) was the real example and model of practical preaching and his way of life, good nature and behavior with people, the oneness of words and deeds, and his magnanimity in dealing with stubborn people are not only the best lesson and teaching method for cultural servants but also for all believers and even the whole humanity, head of the Iranian pilgrims added.
In another part of his speech, referring to a hadith of Imam Hossain (AS) Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said: He was a true teacher of knowledge and the flag bearer of the Jihad of explanation.
