Unveiling Ceremony of Book "Lady and Commander" Was Held in Mecca
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, during the unveiling ceremony of the book Khatoon and Commander (biography of Martyr Alireza Tavvasoli known as Abu Hamid), referred to this book and expressed some points about the status of martyrs.
According to the Hajj Information Base, Seyyed Abdolfattah Nawab, the Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs at the ceremony held to honor the families of the martyrs and the unveil the book Khatoon and Commander (the biography of Martyr Alireza Tavvasoli known as Abu Hamid), in the city of Mecca while explaining the position of martyrs, he considered commemorating the position of martyr as a clear example of the revival of divine rituals.
He called interest in honoring the memory of martyrs as a sign of piety of the heart and in this context he mentioned a narration of Imam Baqer (AS).
"Before his martyrdom, Imam Baqer (AS) bequeathed to his son Imam Sadiq (AS) to hold a funeral for them in Mena for ten years and designated an endowment for its expenses, including for mourners," Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said.
The Supreme Leader's representative explained in relation to this narration, "The Immaculate Imam who does not need the mourning of others, but wants the tradition of keeping divine rituals alive among the people, but why for ten years? Because this tradition is established in the minds."
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab continued by referring to a story about the high character of the martyrs and said: In 1361, during the burial of a martyr's body in a deprived and remote area, I asked his family to give me the martyr's will so that I can read it to the people. This martyr had written in his will that God, I wish to spend my life in your way and not be buried in the vain struggles of nature.
"This martyr was born and raised in one of the deprived areas of Iran. He had not even come to the front as a member of the Basij, but instead spent his military days in the army, but he had reached such a level of mysticism that he had requested such a wish from God," he added.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab continued by pointing out that the book Khatoon and commander will be unveiled in this meeting, he pointed to the leadership's description of this book and said: When this book was handed over to the Supreme Leader in December of last year after reading the book, he wrote an essay on it, which is important.
Supreme Leader has written on the margins of this book: God's greetings to the dear martyr, Alireza Tavvasoli, a sincere and altruist mujahid, and to his patient and wise wife, Mrs. Umm al-Binin.
"I have not received the events related to the Afghan immigrants in this book from any other source that can be trusted. Some of them are very impressive, but on the other hand, Fatemiyoun's jihad movement is an honor for them and all Afghans," he added.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed out that this book is the memoirs of the wife of martyr Tavvasoli, one of the defenders of the Afghan shrine, and said: All the wives of the martyrs can write more detailed memoirs about their husbands if they take up the pen.
After the speech of Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, Umm al-Binin Hosseini, the wife of Martyr Tavvasoli, expressed some points about this Martyr in the unveiling ceremony of the book Khatoon and Commander.
Umm al-Banin Hosseini stated that Martyr Tavvasoli was born in a clerical and provincial family, and said: Although Martyr Tavvasoli was born in one of the remote villages of Afghanistan, he followed the course of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and the actions of Imam Khomeini since 1349. .
He added: the brother of Martyr Tavvasoli was also buried alive by the communist government of that time in Afghanistan for being a supporter of Imam Khomeini.
Mrs. Hosseini further pointed to the time of this martyr's migration to Iran and said: Martyr Tavvasoli immigrated to Iran in his youth, i.e. in 1363, and after he settled in Qom for a while and entered the field, he was forced into the war fronts in Kordestan. They went and he put on the battle uniform for the first time there.
She added that after the end of the war, Martyr Tavvasoli entered Afghanistan and continued his jihad activities in Afghanistan, but after a few years he decided to return to Iran and work in cultural fields.
Umm al-Binin Hosseini continued: But with the start of the war in Syria, Martyr Tavvasoli decided to put on a combat uniform and went to Syria as one of the first defenders of the Holy shrine.
At the end, Martyr Tavvasoli's wife mentioned that she met Martyr Tavvasoli in 1379 and said: I lived with Martyr Tavvasoli for 13 years.
According to this report, the author of this book, Mrs. Maryam Gurbanzadeh, who is one of this year's Hajj pilgrims, was honored at the unveiling ceremony of Khatoon and Commander.
