Deputy Head of Lebanon's Hajj Mission: Unification of Muslim Countries As A Big slap in Face of Enemies of Islam

The deputy head of the Hajj mission of the Lebanese government and the mufti of the provinces of Tire and Jebel Amal said that the "unification" of Muslim countries will be a big slap in the face of the enemies of Islam, including Israel and the US.

According to the Hajj Information Base, Sheikh Hassan Abdullah, deputy head of the Hajj branch of the Lebanese government and mufti of the provinces of Tire and Jebel Amal, met with Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims.

In this meeting, Sheikh Hassan Abdullah mentioned many commonalities between the two countries, and said, "With the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the unity of the two countries was formed and now they are following the path of Islam "blood to blood", "hand to hand" and "heart to heart" and in many cases we have a common goal.

Stating that Imam Musa Sadr provided the basis for strengthening the relations between the two countries, he continued that Lebanon's relations with the Islamic Republic are historical and deep-rooted, and both countries have constructive interactions to achieve common interests.

The deputy head of the Hajj branch of the Lebanese government while emphasizing that confronting Israel is one of the main axes of the two countries' policies, noted that the agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia is a big slap to the enemies of Islam, including Israel and the United States, which seek to create differences and divide the Muslim countries.

He expressed his hope that the unity of Muslim countries will become widespread, and continued that Islam is going in a direction that will crush the enemies because every friendship that is made between Muslim countries is a blow to the enemies of Islam.

Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also stated that Iran-Lebanon relations gained another meaning after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, and said that the presence of prominent Lebanese personalities in Iran and studying in seminaries changed people's view of this country.

"The excellent and thoughtful measures taken by some eminent personalities, including Imam Musa Sadr, became a model for other Muslim countries and were welcomed and supported by clerics and people in Iran," he added.

Referring to the historical roots that exist between the two countries of Iran and Lebanon, the representative of the Supreme Leader in matters of Hajj and Pilgrimage noted that the people of the two countries and the Muslims of the world wish to see the true unity of the Islamic countries.

The Head of Iranian Pilgrimages stated that all Muslim countries need each other and the absence of each would be a defect, and declared Iran's desire to share its experiences with Lebanon in the field of Hajj and Pilgrimage, and in turn asked that country to also share its experiences with Iran.

In this meeting, which was attended by Seyed Abbas Hosseini, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, Hojjat al-Islam Hamid Shahriari, Secretary General of the Association of Islamic Religions, and Mansour Mir Ahmadi, Deputy Director of International Affairs of the Supreme Leader's Representative Office, and a group of senior managers of the Lebanese Mission, the parties considered Israel as the great enemy of Muslims.
