Head of the Iranian pilgrims meets elite and intellectual Muslim pilgrims of 17 countries
A group of elite and intellectual Muslim pilgrims from different countries met with Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.
According to the Hajj information base, A group of elite and educated Muslim pilgrims from different countries met with Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab in a meeting which was held in Mena by international deputy of Supreme Leader Delegation Office.
At the meeting, which was attended by the deputy of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs during the days of Medina Hojjat al-Islam Akhtari and also Secretary General of The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought Hojjat al-Islam Shahriari; a number of guests pointed out the importance of the Islamic Republic of Iran role in the unity of Muslim countries.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said at the meeting: I am very happy to meet you in the land of Mena, the testing place of Hazrat Hajar (AS), Hazrat Ibrahim and Ismail (PBUH), and I wish you an acceptable Hajj from the great God.
The presence of different Muslim nationalities in Iran has a long history, because our country has served all those who take steps for Islam, he continued.
The Abrahamic Hajj has hundreds benefit, one of which is that the pilgrims can know each other and know each other's culture and traditions, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs added.
These elite and cultured pilgrims who came from Ghana, Myanmar, Turkey, India, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Nigeria, France, Pakistan, Niger, Kashmir, Gambia, Mali, Gabon, Boyan and Palestine, called Iran as the pioneer country of the Islamic world in fight against arrogance and enemies of Islam.
The meeting with elites and intellectuals of different countries is held every year on the second night of the pilgrims' stay in the land of Mena, and those present exchange experiences and talk about the opportunities and challenges of the Islamic world.
