Head of Iranian Pilgrims Emphasized: Officials of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Must Attend Gathering of Pilgrims and Listen to Them
In meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader's Representative Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab stressed that authorities of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization are obliged to meet the pilgrims and listen to their problems.
According to the Hajj Information Base, in the meeting that was held on Friday (Tir 23) under the chairmanship of Hojjat al-Islam Navvab in Mecca, the head of the Iranian pilgrims stated that some complaints raised during the visit to the hotels should be investigated and in accordance with justice, If a pilgrim's right has been lost by mistake should be compensated for.
"If a word is expressed or a decision is made during these visits, it should be followed up to maintain the people's trust in the Hajj and pilgrimage Organization, because the biggest asset of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization is the satisfaction and trust of the people.
The head of Iranian pilgrims then made recommendations to the Accommodation Committee of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, and stated that the hotel that has caused the dissatisfaction of this year's pilgrims should be investigated and removed from the rental cycle next year.
In the continuation of this meeting, Mr. Seyyed Abbas Hosseini, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, pointed out the actions and follow-ups to start of the Ummrah journey and the preparation for understanding with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia in this regard, and the Supreme Leader's representative also emphasized In this regard, it should be done with proper planning and avoiding haste, and after securing the foreign exchange costs of those programs, it should be followed up.
This meeting continued with the report of Mr. Gholamreza Rezaei, the head of the Hajj operation headquarters, regarding the negotiations and measures taken to provide accommodation for the future Hajj.
He also announced the transfer of more than 47,800 pilgrims to the country with 105 flights from Maedina Airport and 101 flights from Jeddah Airport and added that the number of pilgrims present in Mecca and Medina is 28,000 and 9,770, respectively.
Deputy Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization for Ummrah also pointed out that the pilgrims were satisfied with the transfer from Mecca to Medina by train and said that so far, 15,531 pilgrims in the form of 103 convoys by train and 10,149 people in the form of 73 convoys by bus have traveled from Mecca to Medina, and 5,000 people is also added to the initial prediction that 20,000 people were to be transported by train from Medina to Mecca.
According to this report, Mr. Nasser Hawizawi, the director of the representative office of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in Saudi Arabia, also explained the follow-up process through the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia to receive the demands of this organization from the Iranian Hajj Company in the last and this year's Hajj, and Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stressed that these demands should not be abandoned and the financial status of the Hajj organization with the contracting companies in the host country should be clear and transparent.
At the end of this meeting, Dr. Taher Daroudi, Deputy Director of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center, presented a report on the condition of patients hospitalized in Saudi and Mecca hospitals and said: With the interaction with Iran Air, today Friday (Tir 23), 6 patients accompanied by a medical team were transferred to Iran.
