Commemoration of Sacred Defense week in Hajj and Pilgrimage organization
Commemoration ceremony of Holy Defense week and honoring the sacrifices of the martyrs, veterans and warriors of the eight years of holy defense was held with the speech of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.
According to the Hajj information base, at the ceremony, which was held to honor the memory of martyrs, fighters, sacrificers and freedmen of the imposed war, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs emphasized that while in the eight years of sacred defense, the whole world stood against the nascent Islamic system and supported Sadam, but it was the Iranian missiles that destroyed the American base Ain al-Asad in Iraq and this is one of the blessings of the imposed war.
Referring to the charter of Imam's spirituality, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stated: every day, war had blessings for the Iranian nation, and it was during the war that we recognized our friends and enemies and came to the conclusion that must stand on our own feet.
In the continuation of his speech, by honoring the holy defense week and the memory of the martyrs of Masjid al-Haram and Mena, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs pointed to a narration by Imam Hassan Asgari, who says that there is no trouble or calamity unless it is surrounded by a blessing from God and added: Disasters and hardships lead to the growth of societies and people, and provide a basis for greater communication between the believer and the incomparable God.
Stating that trials and tribulations have existed and continued since the time of Prophet Adam, he considered trials and tribulations as a blessing and added: many do not succeed in divine trials.
The great God even tested Ibrahim Khalilullah and made him interested in having a child, but he broke all these bonds and only submitted to God's command and brought his beloved child as a sacrifice and his pride in the divine test was the basis Hazrat Ibrahim Imamate, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added.
Considering the Battle of Confederates as a combined war against the Prophet and Muslims, that the enemy used all methods to defeat the Muslims, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs
added: the result of doing right in trials and tribulations is success.
God tests the faithful servant with all kinds of troubles and wants to wake him up, and this is God's reception for human development, he said.
Mentioning the Sacred Defense as a divine test and honoring the memory of the Mena martyrs and pointing out that thousands of pilgrims, including more than 460 Iranian pilgrims, were martyred in the tragedy of Mena wearing Ihram clothes, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab reminded the words of Supreme Leader emphasizing on not forgetting the disaster.
At the end, chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Seyyed Abbas Hosseini honored the Holy Defense Week and considered the cruel sanctions of the enemies against the Islamic system as the continuation of global arrogance against the Islamic Republic and the Iranian people.
