Housing capacity for upcoming Hajj in Mecca and Medina completes in the coming days
The process of house renting for future Hajj pilgrims in the cities of Mecca and Medina is being finalized, it was announced at the meeting of Planning and coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.
According to the Hajj information base, deputy of Hajj and Pilgrimage organization in Hajj and Umrah affairs announced at the meeting that the process of renting hotels for future Hajj pilgrims in the cities of Mecca and Medina will be finalized in the coming days. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.
Mr. Gholamreza Rezaei added at the meeting that with the efforts of the Hajj al-Tamattu Housing Committee, about 80% of the capacity needed for the upcoming Hajj has been rented in the host country and this process continues. This meeting was held by video and audio communication of Hajj and Pilgrimage officials with the representatives who has been sent to Saudi Arabia and also representative office of the Supreme Leader's mission in Iraq.
Deputy of Hajj and Pilgrimage organization in Hajj and Umrah affairs also reported on the efforts to reduce the duration of the upcoming Hajj trip and pointed to the measures taken to provide housing for Umrah pilgrims and said: So far, housing has been provided for tens of thousands of Umrah pilgrims in Medina.
According to him, due to the closure of Umrah trips from Nowruz 2014, the process of dispatching convoys is supposed to be increased with two starting flights and every five days to reach the desired capacity gradually and in a slow process.
Supervision and inspection director of Supreme Leader Delegation Office Mr. Hossein Esmaili also referred at this video communication to renting high-capacity hotels for the upcoming Hajj and considered it a step toward reducing the manpower and agents providing services to the pilgrims.
He also emphasized on the necessity to inform Umrah pilgrims about the conditions of host country and attendance at pilgrimage places in Mecca and Medina.
Considering that about six million people have Umrah documents, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs at the meeting asked delegation which have been sent to Saudi Arabia, try to provide as much ground as possible for dispatching Iranian Umrah pilgrims in the months of Ramadan and Shawwal.
In the continuation of this meeting, chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Seyed Abbas Hoseini reported on his recent trip to Atabat-e-Aliyat to review the difficulties of pilgrimage trip to Atabat.
He mentioned the decisions about the process of feeding and cooking in the kitchens and reviewing the wages of forces in this department and other executive and cultural departments in the pricing committee and emphasized on the necessity of designing suitable software for full access to information and providing optimal services to pilgrims.
Head of the Supreme Leader representative office in Iraq Hojjat al-Islam Hossein Behjati also evaluated this trip positively and emphasized on the necessity to follow up the implementation of decisions and more monitoring in Iraq by the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization and supreme leader delegation office.
In this process, companies that are weak in providing optimal services for the pilgrims of Imam Hossain (AS) should be merged so that the problems can be solved faster, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs emphasized.
While condemning the aggression and massacre of oppressed people of Gaza by arrogance and its accomplices, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said at the beginning of the meeting: today, Gaza is the testing ground for Muslims and the front of truth. Those who are not on the side of the oppressed people of Gaza are definitely considered supporters of the occupying child-killing regime, whether they want it or not.
