Hojjat al-Islam Navvab: Cultural Servants of Umrah Should Pay Attention to Statement of Second Step of Islamic Revolution and Jihad of Explanation
Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab called for paying attention to the statement of the second step of the Islamic Revolution and Jihad of Explanation, and said that the clerics of the Umrah caravans should be mediators of transfer of the Islamic teachings to people.
According to the Hajj Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab addressing the training briefing conference for the clerics of the Umrah caravans of 1402 which was held in the conference hall of the Supreme Leader's representative office in Qom stressed the need for cultural servants of Umrah to pay attention to the statement of the second step of the Islamic Revolution and Jihad explanation.
He specifically mentioned the seventh recommendation of Ayatollah Khamenei in the second step of the revolution, and added that the seventh recommendation of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in the second step, which is about the Islamic lifestyle, will be the best axis to present to the people, which can be very effective.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stressed continuous and effective communication with the people and clarified that the clerics of the Umrah caravans should be the mediators of transfer of the Islamic teachings to people.
Referring to the 9-year suspension of Umrah and the deprivation of people from this valuable spiritual journey and the loss of the precious opportunity to advertise and communicate with the people, he reiterated the need for starting Umrah as inevitable and added that today, the sense of responsibility and duty of clerics has doubled.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stated that the conditions of today's society are different from the past due to the cruel sanctions of the enemy, and considered the unparalleled resistance of the oppressed and powerful people of Gaza against the relentless attacks of the brutal and child-killing Zionist regime as a lesson for all Islamic countries.
He also pointed to the efforts of global arrogance to destroy the axis of resistance, an example of which was last year's riots, and noted that the spiritual activity of the 1402 Umrah caravan is different from that of the caravan 10 years ago.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab asked the clerics of Umrah caravans to be in active, direct and effective communication with the people, listen to their words and appreciate this golden opportunity.
He pointed out that after last year's riots, people's expectations of clerics have increased, and clerics must be scientifically up-to-date and in the best physical and mental conditions to serve.
Mr. Seyed Abbas Hosseini, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, also pointed out the continuous efforts of the Hajj brokers to re-organize the Umrah, and said that due to the upcoming problems, the necessary arrangements have been made to start the spiritual Umrah ceremony from Dey 13.
He mentioned all the efforts of the Hajj and Pilgrimage agents to provide an easy and pleasant Umrah journey for the people and expressed the hope that after 10 years since the closure of this spiritual ceremony, valuable services will be provided in this field so that "we can witness its fruitful blessings".
