Martyr Nawab Safavi; role model and mentor

According to the Hajj information base, in the 42nd commemoration of the pioneers of jihad and martyrdom and the martyrs of the Islam’s devotees which was held on Monday night (8^th Bahman ) in Qaimshahr Grand Mosque, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab mentioned Martyr Nawab as a mentor and a role model for youth and fighters during the Taghut period.

At the memorial, which was held on the occasion of 68th anniversary of Seyyed Mojtaba Nawab Safavi martyrdom and his loyal companions, head of the Iranian pilgrims, referring to the verses of the Quran, mentioned the martyr Nawab Safavi as an example of those who along the path of the prophets, convey divine instructions to others. The ceremony was organized by the effort of Fadaiyan-e-Islam group in Mazandaran province.

Referring the moral characteristics of martyr Nawab Safavi and his sincerity, Hajjat al-Islam Navvab added: these characteristics have caused ceremony to honor his memory and path to be held after 68 years of his martyrdom.

He considered martyr Nawab Safavi to be a person of insight and said: according to the words of Amir al-Mu'minin Ali bin Abi Talib (AS), a person who is a man of insight can carry the flag of religion, and martyr Nawab is an example of this enlightening statement.

Referring to the different stages of martyr Nawab Safavi’ life from his birth to martyrdom, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said: the assassination of Kasravi, who was fighting against people's beliefs, was carried out by him and his martyred companions.

Stating that the prominent point in the life of Martyr Nawab Safavi was supporting the Palestinian people in 1327 and trying to form a group to fight against the Zionist regime, he added: If the Islamic countries had taken the message and strategy of the beloved martyr that day, it would not have come to this stage.

Referring the words of Supreme Leader regarding the martyr Nawab Safavi, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs pointed to the hadith of Imam Ali (a.s.) "Hob al-Dunya Ra’s al-Fattan" and added: this martyr thinking about the hereafter and avoided the world, he sold himself to God by avoiding the world. The oppressive regime of Pahlavi tried to entice him from the path which he had chosen, but the Mujahid martyr did not accept any offer and continued the path that believed in.

Emphasizing that the Martyr Nawab Safavi had put respect for parents at the top of his priorities, he added: the martyr laid the groundwork for the revolutionary movement of late Imam and revived the revolutionary spirit, collective movement, convergence and religious unity in the society, and during his trip to Islamic countries, he showed a clear example of "merciful to one another.

At the end of this ceremony, considering the Islamic revolution's Fajjr decade and the elections of the Assembly of Leadership Experts and the Islamic Council Assembly elections are ahead, he invited everyone to enthusiastically participate in the elections and support the oppressed Muslims of Palestine.
