Hojjat al-Islam Navvab: Orientation Towards Holy Qur'an and Unity Are Essence of Hajj 1403

The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs while pointing out that during this year's Hajj ceremony, many Qur'anic meetings will be held in Mecca and Medina, emphasized: that orientation towards Holy Qur'an and unifying Qur'an are the essence of Hajj 1403.

According to the Hajj Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, who is also head of Iranian pilgrims, before leaving for the land of revelation, in a press conference with reporters at the International Imam Khomeini of Tehran said that in the recent meeting with the Hajj agents, the Supreme Leader raised some points that are at the forefront of our work, and some of these points are also included in the slogan of this year's Hajj.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stated that the basis of this year's Hajj is "Quran-centered" and "unity", and in this regard, many Quranic circles will be held this year during the Hajj season.


The Supreme Leader's representative Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs noted that empathy is one of the slogans of this year's Hajj, and the Supreme Leader mentioned it as Hajj of Unity.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab while stating that the essence of the points that Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Supreme Leader, together with their representatives in Hajj and Pilgrimage, was "unity", emphasized unity, empathy and solidarity among the needs of the Islamic Ummah. 


"The slogan 'O Muslims unite' is derived from the Quranic verse and this year's slogan of unity should also have a coherent and very bold plan," he added.


The Supreme Leader's representative noted that the Supreme Leader also made references to the character and personality traits of Prophet Abraham (PBUH), which should also be taken into consideration during Hajj.


"In this regard, in recent days, a book titled "Abrahamism" was published and also in the "Ons and Ma'raft" circles held in Mecca and Medina, the character and characteristics of the Holy Prophet, including the context of the issue of disavowal of God's enemies will be explained.


Pointing out that Islamic authority and the Palestinian issue are another part of this year's Hajj, the head of the Iranian Hajj said that if there is Islamic unity, authority will also arise and Islamic authority will also realize the defense of Palestine.


He went on to point out that the issue of hatred of the Zionist regime is not unique to the Hajj season and that this issue exists today in the whole world among Muslims and non-Muslims, and reminded that today, the situation is such that the scientific and academic centers of Europe and America also they openly and continuously express their hatred for the "Zionist regime".


At the same time, the head of the Iranian Hajj emphasized the need to maintain the peace of the pilgrims and said: "In the issue of Hajj, what should be achieved is the peace of the pilgrims because our pilgrims have been waiting for Hajj for about 17 years and they should be able to perform their rituals in peace and properly."


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added that all Muslim pilgrims hate the "Zionist regime", but this expression of disgust should be done in such a way that the sanctity of the Hajj and the laws of the host country are respected.


In response to a question about this year's gatherings of pilgrims in Mecca and Medina, he said, "As in previous years, some of these gatherings, which are centered on religious and knowledge issues, are organized in caravans, and some are held in hotels where the pilgrims stay and it is done collectively."


The head of Iranian pilgrims said that f the host government agrees to our request, the eastern part of the roof of Masjid al-Nabi (PBUH) will be allocated to Iranian pilgrims on Friday nights so that they can recite the complete prayer in this part of the Prophet's Mosque.


He clarified that the authorities of Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabi have praised the orderliness of Iranian pilgrims many times and if they allow Iranian pilgrims to gather in the upper part of Masjid al-Nabi on Friday nights of these four weeks, it would be a good thing.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, in response to another question about the practical and practical plans of the mission to transfer the Quranic logic of innocence to the Islamic world, stated: Prophet Abraham (PBUH) is the founder of innocence and Abrahamology is a practical and important step in this field.


"The matter of diavowal is a natural matter of human beings, and if the character of Prophet Abraham (PBUH) and his character are well known, the Quranic logic of disavowal will also be well conveyed.

Seyed Abbas Hosseini, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, accompanies the head of Iranian pilgrims in this trip, which takes place along with the pilgrims of several Hajj caravans to Medina.


Before boarding the plane, the head of the Iranian pilgrims read the Qur'an to the pilgrims of the Iranian caravans who were traveling with him and were leaving for the land of revelation from the Salam terminal, and wished them all a safe, peaceful and successful journey.


The dispatch of Iranian pilgrims to perform Hajj rituals has started on Monday of this week (Ordibehesht 24).


This year, a total of 87,550 Iranian pilgrims are going to the land of revelation to perform Hajj rituals.
