More than half of our country's pilgrims arrive in the land of revelation

More than half of our country’s pilgrims have arrived in the land of revelation since the beginning of the Hajj operation, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab announced at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.

According to the Hajj information base, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs expressed hope at the meeting that the rest of our country’s pilgrims will enter the land of revelation slowly and easily and return to the country safely with an acceptable Hajj. This meeting was chaired by Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.


Head of the Medina headquarters announced in the continuation of this meeting that the number of pilgrims who entered the Prophet's city since the beginning of the Hajj operation on Ordibehesht 24, are about 32,400 people.


These pilgrims entered the Prophet's city in the form of 233 convoys with 140 flights and visited the Prophet's shrine and Jannat al-Baqi, he added.


Stating that the number of pilgrims present in Medina is more than 10,000, Mr. Ali Asghari said: so far, 25,500 pilgrims visited Roza al-Sharif, and more than 27,000 people have took the opportunity for cycle pilgrimage, and 381,000 meals were cooked and distributed in two central kitchens in this city to feed the pilgrims.


At the end of this meeting, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center in Medina Dr. Nasser Roosta referred the activities of 24-hour and 16-hour clinics in the city of Prophet to provide health and treatment services to Iranian pilgrims and said: the general conditions are smooth and calm.


In the continuation of this meeting, consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran officials reported on the actions and follow-ups carried out regarding the arrest of IRIB media group and their returning to the country. They added with follow-ups at different levels, this group was transferred to the airport last night and returned to the country.


Pointing out that as far as I know, the issue happened for the first time, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs said: Pilgrims are asking what they have done to make Saudi Arabia arrest this group and bring them back to the country?
