Hojjat Al-Islam Navvab: Iran's Strategic Decision Was Biggest Reduction in Number of Hajj Brokers

Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab addressing Sunni pilgrims described the way of Prophet Abraham (PBUH) as a spiritual and saving model in all times.

According to Hajj information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, also head of Iranian Pilgrims, while addressing the National Conference of Sunni Clergy and Pilgrims at Mecca Concorde Hotel, stated that the Supreme Leader in the last meeting with the Hajj organizers had said that it is necessary to pay attention to the remembrance of God and he also mentioned using the opportunities in this year's Hajj and talked about the lessons that can be learned from Prophet Abraham.


He described the way of Prophet Abraham (PBUH) at all times as a spiritual and saving example and while referring to the thoughts Prophet Abraham, he continued: "Among the lessons of Hazrat Ibrahim is purity in the way of God, praise and gratitude. Defending the oppressed is another lesson for them, the same as what they are doing now in other countries and America itself, they are defending Palestine based on God's nature. We condemn and curse the enemies of God and the oppressors. And I am grateful to the beloved Sunnis, many of whom are border dwellers, who rejected the enemy's chest."


The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs pointed out the literacy and grace of Iranian Sunni clerics due to the courses they have completed and described them as people with little expectations and full of goodness, and clarified, "With the efforts of all, all facilities are available to transport Sunni pilgrims to the holy places and perform Hajj."


Referring to the fact that about 900,000 people in Iran are about to be sent to Hajj, and the number of Hajj brokers has decreased, he added, "Now we have pilgrim doctors who volunteer to serve at the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center. During the history of Hajj in Islamic Iran, the ratio of servants to pilgrims is lower this year compared to all periods, and with the reduction of the number of Hajj servants, seven caravans have been added to the number of pilgrims."


According to the report, Hojjat al-Islam Hadi Akbari, director of Sunni affairs of the Supreme Leader's representative office, was the next speaker of this conference, who while referring to the visit of more than 12 ,000 Sunni pilgrims from 11 provinces of the country in Hajj 1403, stated, "In addition to order, discipline and contentment Sunni pilgrims have displayed a model of unity in Islamic Iran in the land of revelation."


He mentioned the number of Sunni caravans in this year's Hajj as 98 caravans and added, "Pilgrims share two caravans and Shia and Sunni live together. This is a great lesson that Imam Khomeini and the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution taught us."


Pointing out that the Sunnis have offered more than 11,000 martyrs to the Islamic Revolution of Iran based on the announcement of the Martyr Foundation, he added, "The Islamic Revolution of Iran is not a Shia revolution but is based on pure Muhammadan Islam, and in the shadow of the unity and participation of all ethnic groups, our national power is It's formed."


In the continuation of this conference, Seyed Abbas Hosseini, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, thanked the efforts of the Sunni management and stated, "In this organization, with the special attention and guidance of the representative of the Islamic jurist, we are all trying to provide the best services to the Sunni pilgrims. In this connection, this year we have allocated some of the best and closest hotels to the shrine for Sunni pilgrims.


He requested the clerics and cultural servants to explain the conditions for the pilgrims in relation to welfare and health issues.


The head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization pointed out that the measures taken so far have been effective in the field of health and treatment, and added, "This year, the number of deaths has decreased compared to previous years."
