Head of Iranian Pilgrims: Women Have Unique Role in History of Islam
In the conference of Sunni resistance women held in Mecca, the head of Iranian pilgrims stated that women have a unique role in the history of Islam, referring to the enduring role of some women in the history of mankind.
According to the Hajj Information Base, the Sunni resistance women's conference was held in Mecca with the presence of the head of Iranian pilgrims and the head of Iran's Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and dozens of women pilgrims from the Sunni caravans of Iran.
Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab while in this conference referring to the history of human life on the planet, said, "In history, there were always groups who violated rights, but pure ones came and showed people the way, and the effects of sensual desires lead people away from the truth."
Stating that the companionship of a noble lady named Hajar made Mecca as Mecca, he continued that the role of women like Hazrat Hajar is special and unique in the history of humanity, and if it was not for her companionship and stay in the land of Mecca, the religion of Prophet Abraham (PBUH) would not have started.
"If the claws along with the strength of this lady were not for stone-throwing at Satan, Prophet Abraham's hands would not have the power to sacrifice his son Ismail in front of God. This land was gradually given to the children of Hazrat Ismail.
The head of the Iranian pilgrims stated that the role of Hazrat Hajar can be modeled for all the women of history, and stated, Throughout the history of this land, it suffered from the disease of ignorance to the point where girls were buried alive, but the Prophet explained the position of women and men. "Therefore, one of the many lessons of the Hajj journey is to become human."
He reminded the need to focus on God in the programs and clarified: There is a chapter called Nisa in the Holy Quran, but there is no such thing about men. "This shows the greatness of women in front of God."
He added that many women accompanied the Prophet and sacrificed their lives for the cause of God and Islam, and Hazrat Somaya is one of these women who was martyred in this land.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab continued that Hazrat Khadijah was also an understanding lady and after making sure that Mohammad Amin was trustworthy, he proposed to her at a time when they were not prophets, but they were trustworthy. Hazrat Khadija gave a positive answer to the truthfulness and faithfulness of Prophet Mohammad.
He stated that in the Uhud and Khandaq campaigns, Hazrat Zahra (SA) brought bread to cover the face and feed the Prophet, and the only mosque named after a woman is Hazrat Zahra (SA). Also, Nasiba was with the Prophet in several campaigns and killed his son's killer in the Uhud War. Abdullah bin Haram's sister, Hind, is also such a woman. Hazrat Zainab (SA) is also one of the resistant women. It was the resistance of these women that gave Islam this position.
Pointing out that the name of anyone who is associated with truth will not be lost, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab emphasized the need to follow the examples of these personalities in their duties and said: "The story of Gaza is with the help of God, like other fronts of truth will win and they are all testing whether our name will be registered in the petition of supporters of Gaza or not. For years, they want to destroy the flag of Palestine and raise the flag of the Zionist regime, but today we see how they are kicking the flag of this child-killing regime in the world, and the flag of Palestine has been raised all over the world."
According to this report, Hojjat al-Islam Hadi Akbari, the director of Ahl al-Sunni Affairs of the Supreme Leader's Mission, also spoke in another part of this conference on the issue of Islam's view of women.
"The Holy Prophet changed the views towards women by bringing Islam and reminded that there is no difference between men and women on the way to perfection," he added.
He pointed out the objectives of holding this conference and continued: "Pilgrims perform the effort between Safa and Marwah because of Hagar's effort. "Also, Islam would not have won if it were not for Hazrat Khadijah."
In the end, the director of Ahl al-Sunna of the Supreme Leader's representative office said: Women have resisted a lot throughout history so that Islam will win. During the holy defense, the defenders of the shrine and the resistance of Palestine and Gaza, we have seen the sacrifice and the role of women, how they resisted in the way of Islam."
Also, Ghorchaei, one of the women present in this conference, also honored the memory of the martyrs of Mena and expressed some things about the role of women as human beings and civilization builders and said: "Palestine and Gaza are symbols of mothers who defend Islam like Hajar."
Emphasizing that Muslim women should protect the religion of Islam by protecting their modesty and chastity, she added: "We should be followers of brave women who made sacrifices along with men for the cause of Islam.
This report indicates that in a part of this conference, the Tawashih Al-Abad group sang "Qaseida Al-Barda" and at the end, Mrs. Shakiba, one of the Ahl-e-Sunni, recited a heart-written note entitled "A Pact with God".
