In the last meeting of planning council of supreme leader’s mission and Hajj organization in Mecca;
gratitude for our country’s people and pilgrims participation in presidential elections

According to the Hajj information base, The Planning Council of Supreme Leader's mission and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization held a meeting in mecca in the presence of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.

Stating that the people of Islamic Iran have always come out proud from the great test that has been the focus of the world, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs said that the Supreme Leader prediction, who had been said the number of participants will be more than the previous stage, has come true.

Head of the Iranian pilgrims thanked the hard work and efforts of all those involved in holding elections in Saudi Arabia and called everyone to respect the days of Muharram.

Stating that the people should participate in the country's programs as they have been for the past four decades, he expressed hope that the president-elect, based on the Supreme Leader's orders, will act on election promises in debates and ways of prosperity and peace and cultural affairs, which will cause pride and the success of the Iranian nation.

According to the report, at the beginning of this meeting, director of Nutrition and Procurement of the Hajj Organization Asghar Hajizadeh reported on the plans of his department in this year's Hajj and refferred to cooking of 18 types of food for lunch, 22 types of food for dinner, and 8 types of hot breakfast and savings which have been done.

Positively describing the presented report, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs emphasized: the satisfaction of pilgrims has priority and the pathologies and opinions in this relation should be given serious and detailed attention.

In the continuation of this meeting, deputy of Hajj Organization in Hajj and Umrah affairs Mr. Gholamreza Rezaei reminded the reduction of more than 230 people of the organization's agents in this year's Hajj compared to the previous Hajjs and said: "Last year there were 84,760 sacrifices and this year there were 85,616 sacrifices, which shows the increase in the number of Hajj pilgrims.

He also pointed to the follow-ups for the launch of Umrah trips and said: plans have been made in this regard and information regarding the cost and travel packages will be announced at the right time.

Head of the Iranian pilgrims also emphasized that the reduction of manpower should be planned and use other capacities so that the pilgrims do not get hurt, and this work will be smoother with planning.

Hajj and Umrah deputy of Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center of the Red Crescent Society Dr. Taher Darudi also pointed out the decrease in visits to clinics due to the departure of more than half of the pilgrims from Saudi Arabia and said: 9 more patients were transferred to Iran today through Jeddah airport for further treatment, and the transfer of 8 more patients who are in a more difficult situation is being followed up with the coordination of the insurance company.

At the end of this meeting, head of the Iranian pilgrims listed some events and behaviors of the host country during this year's Hajj and stated: Some of these behaviors were surprising because the officials of this country have a large archive of films and photos in all Hajj programs over the years that are a sign of honesty, openness and benevolence of Iranian pilgrims’ servants in this country.

Chairman of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization considered the consensus and empathy between the Supreme Leader’s mission and the Hajj organization as the reason for holding a good and successful Hajj and said: the constructive guidelines of supreme leader representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affais have always been helpful in different stages.
