Head of the Iranian pilgrims meets with Umrah caravan managers and clerics in medina
Umreh pilgrim must go to the land of revelation with full awareness, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab said in a meeting with Umrah caravan managers and clerics in medina.
According to the Hajj Information base, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab added: attending the Ruzah al-Rezvan, which is requested by all pilgrims, is currently done through a mechanism that does not allow all pilgrims attend this place, and these conditions are not in the control of Iranian managers and decision-makers and are a measure that the relevant authorities of the host country have taken.
The long path inside Baqi', where pilgrims must enter through one door and exit through another door, is also one of the issues that the relevant authorities have made a decision about it, but plans can be made to accommodate the pilgrims' needs.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added: here in this land, pilgrims should contact with different Shiite and Sunni tribes as well as with compatriots from different provinces of Iran.
We must overcome challenges and shortcomings through communication and collaboration, and God willing, the presence of Iranian pilgrims in this land will be impressive, he added.
17 institutions and organizations are working to ensure that the sending of pilgrims to the Land of Revelation is carried out in the best and most favorable manner, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs said.
Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization Mr. Alireza Bayat also said at the meeting: "We will increase the number of Umrah pilgrims next year."
Increase in the number of pilgrims creats problems in flights, and we are trying to resolve the challenge through the negotiations, he added.
The diet plan is written in consultation with nutrition experts and is in accordance with the science of specialists, Mr. Bayat said.
Regarding the increase in the number of crew members requested by caravan managers, he said: each additional person reduces the services of one pilgrim and increases the cost, so we try to provide the most services with the least number of people so that a larger qouta is allocated to people for pilgrimage.
At the beginning of the meeting, clerics and managers of caravans discussed about the existing problems.
