Using domestic and foreign planes for Hajj 1404
For Hajj 1404, domestic and foreign planes will be used to transport pilgrims to the Land of Revelation, Supreme Leader’s Representative in Hajj and pilgrimage affairs said.
According to the Hajj Information base, at the meeting of the Research Council of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Research Institute in Qom, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab also presented some points about the Hajj Tamattu 1403, the current Umrah, and the preparations made for the Hajj 1404.
Referring to last year Hajj, he said: "In Hajj 1403, despite the extreme heat in Masha’ar, with the grace of God and the executive measures of all servants, the number of deaths decreased by 36 percent and was noticeable."
For Hajj 1404, domestic and foreign planes will be used to transport pilgrims to the Land of Revelation, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs added.
In the continuation of this meeting, members of the Research Council presented their opinions and suggestions for the quantitative and qualitative development of the research institute.
Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs also provided guidelines for conducting research as best as possible.
Stating that the raised points have been noted and will be followed up, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stated: "We have supported the Hajj and Pilgrimage Research Institute so far and will continue to support it from now on."
Addressing the members of the Research Council of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Research Institute, he added: "Plans must be made for the quantitative and qualitative development of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Research Institute."
Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Research Institute Dr. Mirza Alizadeh, also expressed his gratitude for the presence of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and his attention to the issue of research and scientific work in this meeting, stating: "Short-term, medium-term, and long-term programs have been considered to better advance the Hajj and Pilgrimage Research Institute, and special importance should be given to this complex."
