Ways to Success in Hajj Caravans

Hojjat al-Islam Navvab emphasized: all of us Hajj clerics should follow the preaching method of Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH).

According to the Hajj Information base, referring to the missionary characteristics of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS), Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab stated on Thursday, Esfnde 9th 1403, at the conference of the clerics and assistans of Hajj Tamttu’ 1404 caravans that being intelligent in preaching, organizational work, deep thinking instead of superficiality, and having a comprehensive plan for the future are among the missionary indicators of Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) mentioned in the Quran, and the clerics of Hajj caravans should pay attention to them.


Referring to a narration from Abdullah ibn Abbas about Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH), he said: Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) was the first person to entertain guests, the first person to perform rituals, the first person to sacrifice in the way of God, the first person to migrate for God, and the first prophet for whom God raised the dead.


Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and pilgrimage affairs emphasized to the clerics present at the conference: "Propaganda must be carried out with planning, patience, and appropriate methods in order to achieve the desired result. We have a heavy responsibility in the Hajj journey, and must use effective methods in this regard."


Referring to the ways to success in Hajj caravans, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stated:


  1. Holding Suitable sessions for different groups of pilgrims, because people with diverse thoughts and tastes are present during the Hajj journey, and it is not possible to implement the same program for everyone.
  2. Gratitude for the divine invitation; the issue must be achieved by sincerely serving the pilgrims of Baitullah al-Haram and their spiritual growth.
  3. Sincere service to pilgrims and colleagues; clerics and ther assistants must walk the path of serving with pure intentions.
  4. The presence of clerics even in hotels and restaurants, creates a greater spiritual connection and identity.
  5. Playing active role in public programs and fondness ceremonies of Supreme Leader's mission; clerics must effectively participate in the collective programs of the caravans.

In the final part of his speech, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and pilgrimage affairs referred to the average age of pilgrims of Hajj Tamattu’ 1404 and said: "The average age of pilgrims this year is 57 years old."
