Quranic behavior, Islamic convergence, and support for oppressed Palestine, focus of this year's Hajj

Head of the Iranian pilgrims emphasized: "There are three main axes on the agenda for this year's Hajj: Quranic behavior, Islamic convergence, and support for oppressed Palestine."

According to the Hajj Information base, A large educational and informative conference for Hajj 1404 pilgrims from Tehran province was held this morning with a large attendance of pilgrims in the 12,000-seat hall of the Azadi Sports Complex.

At the end of this large educational and informative conference for Hajj 1404 pilgrims, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab referred to the beginning of pilgrims dispatching to the Land of Revelation and told reporters: "God willing, pilgrims will be sent to the Two Holy Mosques from Ordibehesht 15th."

Referring to the slogan of this year's Hajj, he added: "This year, three main axes are on the agenda: Quranic behavior, Islamic convergence, and support for oppressed Palestine."

Quranic behavior is the root and foundation of the plans, because we are going to the land of revelation and the Quran must be the center of all our affairs. Just as the Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) and the Holy Prophet (pbuh) are the foundation of our life path, Quran must also be the foundation of this journey plans, he added.

Emphasizing on the unity among Muslims, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs noted: "In the current circumstances of the Islamic world, unity-oriented slogans must be repeated and implemented so that, God willing, we can witness a reduction in the oppression of the Palestinian people." The main goal of this approach is to support Palestine, and in this regard, teachings of Abrahamic Faith, as ordered by the Supreme Leader, have been prepared in the form of a book and distributed in the caravans’ libraries.

Referring to the Supreme Leader's attention to Nahj al-Balagha, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said: "In his Nowruz speeches, he referred to Nahj al-Balagha, especially its first sermon, which is about wisdom. We have also included this sermon on the agenda in the caravan training sessions."

In another part of his speech, head of the Iranian pilgrims referred to the reduction of Hajj journey duration and added: "Despite the existing restrictions, with the guidance of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization, the duration of this trip has been reduced by about three days this year, which was done in order to increase the spiritual productivity of pilgrims and facilitate administrative services."
