Renewal covenant of Hajj and pilgrimage officials and a group of future Hajj agents with Imam Khomeini (RA)
On the eve of the Hajj great congress, Hajj and Pilgrimage officials and a group of Hajj 1404 agent renewed their pledge with the great founder of the Islamic Revolution by attending the shrine of Imam Khomeini (RA).
According to the Hajj Information base, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab along with Mr. Alireza Bayat, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization, and a group of Hajj 1404 officials, after meeting with Imam Khamenei, Supreme Leader of Revolution, renewed their covenant with the great founder of the Islamic Revolution by attending the shrine of Imam Khomeini (RA).
Participants in this spiritual ritual, while offering wreaths, reciting the Fatiha, and paying respect to the distinguished position of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, honored the memory of Imam Khomeini (RA) and renewed their commitment to the lofty ideals of the late, great Imam (RA), the martyrs, and the wise leader of the Islamic Revolution.
During his speech at the congregational prayer ceremony at the shrine of Imam Khomeini (RA), Hojjat al-Islam Navvab emphasized on the basic components of the Abrahamic Hajj in view of the late Imam and said: the first component of the Abrahamic Hajj in view of the Imam of Ummah is spirituality, because the Imam (RA) himself did not neglect spirituality and worship at all stages of his life, even when he was in special political or physical conditions.
He described serious attention to the political and social dimensions of Hajj as the second component of the Abrahamic Hajj in the view of Imam Khomeini (RA). Stating that the Imam (RA) himself is the reviver of this very important pillar of Hajj, he also said: today, Supreme Leader of the Revolution also said in his speech that Hajj is a duty whose form, appearance, and format are 100% political, but the content is completely spiritual.
Stating that "Muslim unity" is the third pillar of the Abrahamic Hajj from the view of the Imam (RA), head of the Iranian pilgrims added that if Muslims were united, there would be no room for the enemy to influence Islamic countries; but unfortunately, you see that since the enemies created differences among Muslims, these calamities have arisen for the people of Palestine, especially Gaza, and other Islamic nations, including Lebanon, Syria, and so on.
