The first group of Iranian pilgrims will be sent to Mecca tonight

The first group of pilgrims from “Medina befor”, who arrived in the city of the Prophet (PBUH) on Monday morning, will be sent to Mecca on Saturday evening, Ordibehesht 20th .

According to the Hajj Information base, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab arrived in Medina accompanied by Alireza Bayat head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization and a group of Hajj and Supreme Leader mission. They welcomed with the Saudi Arabia officials in Medina.


Upon arrival at the Medina headquarters, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, told reporters that the philosophy of Supreme Leader mission and the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization officials in Medina is to provide the best possible service to pilgrims in the administrative and cultural sectors.


We are trying to make better plans and optimize measures year after year, in accordance with the needs of pilgrims. In this regard, we will work to increase pilgrims' satisfaction, he added.


Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization Alireza Bayat also said about the planned programs: from this evening, Saturday, the process of sending pilgrims from Medina to Mecca will begin, and the first group of Iranian pilgrims will be dispatched to Mecca by high-speed train with well arrangements.


Stating that it has been tried to improve services to pilgrims every year, he said: this year, the process of improving administrative services also has been considered, and some measures have been taken, such as connecting pilgrims to mobile internet, transporting Zamzam water to Iran and delivering it to pilgrims at the country's airports, having female assistants in large caravans, utilizing the capacity of Taif airport, planning for Iranian abroad caravans, using the host country's airline and etc.


We thank and appreciate the way the host country provides services, and we hope that the planning and coordination process will end with the satisfaction of Iranian pilgrims, Bayat stated.


Mr. Hassan Zarnegar, general Consul of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Jeddah, also presented a report on the process of our country's pilgrims entering Medina, appreciating the assistance of Saudi authorities and saying: we hope that our country's pilgrims will be diligent in observing the laws of the host country so that this operation can be completed with minimal difficulty.


Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center of the Red Crescent Society Dr. Seyed Ali Marashi also announced the full readiness of the medical staff to provide the best possible service to the pilgrims, saying that all medical arrangements and centers are ready to provide services.


Thank God, with the pathologies that have been performed, there is no shortage of medicine, and more than 400 types of medicine have been prepared for Iranian pilgrims, he added.
