Head of the Iranian pilgrims :
Tolerance and humanity, great lessons of the Prophet of Islam for the caravans’ missionaries and clerics
Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab gave a speech on Tuesday at the gathering of cultural servants of Hajj Tamattu 1404, which was held in Medina by the Cultural Deputy of Supreme Leader's Mission.
According to the Hajj Information base, Referring to the necessity of using the lessons of Holy Prophet (PBUH) to preach and communicate with people, he said that if we follow the path of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and act on it, God willing, the same desired results of preaching will be achieved for us and people will become more enthusiastic about religion and performing religious acts, and they will gain more knowledge about these acts.
Head of the Iranian pilgrims pointed to the great lesson of the Prophet (PBUH) and the Infallibles (AS) and said: "Keeping people's secrets, being tolerant and patient with people, guiding people and solving their problems are some examples of the central lessons of the Prophet (PBUH) and the Infallibles (AS), especially for missionaries and clerics."
Stating that narrations and stories in Islam from the Infallibles (AS) about tolerance with people are very stirring, Hojjat al-Islam navvab noted: the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) says that just as I have been sent to be a prophet, I have also been ordered to be tolerant towards people.
Describing Imam Khomeini (RA) and Supreme Leader as models of tolerance towards people in the contemporary era, he said: Imam (RA) and Supreme Leader of the Revolution, in addition to fully standing on principles, are also models of correct tolerance, and this tolerance stems from understanding people and understanding religion.
Referring to the important mission of clerics and religious people in the current historical turning point in the world, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs said in another part of his speech that during these days and years, people of Gaza and Palestine are under the heaviest bombardments, and the spirit of the Prophet (PBUH), who is interested in his nation, is certainly hurt by this issue. Therefore, we must be able to fulfill our mission properly so as not to be ashamed of the Prophet (PBUH) and his family.
Honoring the memory of Martyred Raisi and also coincidence of the anniversary of his martyrdom with the special pilgrimage day of Imam Reza (PBUH), Hojjat al-Islam Navvab called on the clerics and servants of the pilgrims to hold the anniversary ceremony of the martyrs of service in hotels.
After his speech, head of the Iranian pilgrims answered the questions of some clerics at the meeting.
Cultural deputy of Supreme Leader's mission Hojjat al-Islam Rokn al-dini told our reporter about the philosophy and function of these meetings that educational and explanatory meetings for cultural servants are held continuously on odd days and with the presence of all clerics and their assistants in Medina and simultaneously in Mecca.
Stating that during these meetings, the latest news and information are exchanged to update the servants regarding their duties and the conditions in Mecca and Medina, he continued: at the meetings, some members of the Supreme Leader's inquiry also explain some of the jurisprudential and ritual issues that are questioned or encountered by pilgrims.
Hojjat al-Islam Rokn al-Dini added: in some meetings, such as today's meeting, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs is invited to attend; this presence is done with two main goals: first: strengthen the morale of cultural servants and then to express the policies and viewpoints of the Supreme Leader's mission through his words; so that these viewpoints are disseminated by cultural servants among pilgrims and acted upon.
