Latest Health Situation of Iranian Pilgrims During Hajj 1404 Explained

The head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center explained the latest health status of Iranian pilgrims in the Land of Revelation.
According to the Hajj Information Base, Dr. Seyed Ali Marashi, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center of the Red Crescent Society, in a conversation referring to appropriate arrangements for providing medical services to pilgrims to the Holy House, explaining the latest health status of pilgrims, said: Currently, respiratory diseases are the most common disease among pilgrims, including Iranian pilgrims, which mainly improve with medication and hygiene after completing the treatment period.
The head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center of the Red Crescent Society also pointed out that there are currently no Iranian patients hospitalized in Medina, adding: 10 of our compatriots are hospitalized in Mecca, and respiratory diseases and lung involvement, fractures, heart failure, and gallbladder problems are among the reasons for these pilgrims' hospitalization.
Stating that some of these 10 pilgrims need surgery, he said: Some of them have undergone surgery and others are preparing for surgery.
Dr. Marashi said: "Unfortunately, a 59-year-old Iranian pilgrim with no history of heart disease, high blood pressure, or diabetes suffered a heart attack after performing Umrah and while performing the recommended Tawaf for the sake of his parents. He died before the emergency services arrived."
The head of the Hajj Medical Center added: "We are waiting for the decision of his relatives to make arrangements to transport his body to his homeland."
