The Second Session of Hajj and Pilgrimage Central Basij Council was Held

As reported by Hajj Information Base, Representative of Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab made a remark on importance and position of enjoining the good and forbidding the wrong and emphasized on promotion of this religious culture in the second session of Central Basij and Enjoining the Good and Forbidding the Wrong Council.

He recounted enjoining the good and forbidding the wrong to have different stages, the best of which being practical phase.

He clarified: “Humankind should act in such a way to set a pattern for others. The clear example in this regard is the martyr Major General Qasem Soleimani, who set a paradigm for others and all the community took a glorious part in his history-making funeral.”

Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims referred to some aspects of the goodness, indicating: “The Holy Quran says ‘Indeed, it is the Almighty God who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength’ (51:58). The Almighty God is the provider of provision and committing the good paves the way for descent of provision. When human beings choose the right path and behave properly, the Almighty God will definitely provide them with generous provision.”

In a narration, the Holy Prophet (pbuh) indicated that: “Having ablution causes descent of a generous provision. Almsgiving and assisting the needy, likewise, brings about increased provision.”

Representative of Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs underlined that: “If human beings commit such good things in their familial life, they will be provided with voluminous provision and supply. There is a direct link between committing the good and provision. Needless to say, the Almighty God provides for all; however, He gives special provision to His chosen servants form the ground of the goodness.”

In the beginning of the session, Commander of Hajj and Pilgrimage Basij Base Mr. Fooladvand made a report on activities undertaken by the Base, stating that: “In the previous year, chief activities of Basij Base included production of cultural content, utilization of the virtual space for development of culture of enjoining the good and forbidding the wring, generation of promotional atmospheres for various occasions, training the personnel on the rights of people and agents, making attempts to arrange congregational prayers, establishment of 31 Basij Bases in different provinces, arrangement of book-reading competitions to promote the culture of enjoining the good and forbidding the wrong, pursuance of demands of the Supreme Leader especially those relevant to the Second Phase of the Revolution, and arrangement of capacitation courses.”
