Iran’s Cultural Attaché in Malaysia Met Hojjat al-Islam Navvab

Islamic Republic of Iran’ Cultural Attaché in Malaysia met Representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims at Supreme Leader Delegation Office in Tehran.

As reported by Hajj Information Base, Islamic Republic of Iran’ Cultural Attaché in Malaysia Mr. Mohammad Orei Karimi attended a meeting with Representative of Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab at Supreme Leader Delegation Office in Tehran today. At this meeting, which was attended by International Deputy to Supreme Leader Delegation Office Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Javad Mazolumi as well, issues on bilateral interactions for augmentation of cultural activities and plans in Iran and Malaysia were discussed.


Expressing that there is a suitable ground for Iran-Malaysia cooperation in the area of hajj and pilgrimage, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab asserted: “We are hopeful to witness extended interactions and communications among Muslims of the two countries after appointment of Mr. Orei Karimi as the new Iranian Cultural Attaché in Malaysia.”


He considered cultural activities in the field of hajj and pilgrimage to be very effective, stating that: “Over 1,400 books, articles, and journals on hajj and pilgrimage have been produced at the Office of Representative of Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs. A good number of these works have been translated and are ready to be taken. We will be happy to take advantage of Malaysia’s achievements in the field of hajj and pilgrimage.”


Declaring his readiness for further scientific and research interactions with Malaysian religious and popular institutes, Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims uttered that: “Malaysian Muslims who attend the Land of Revelation are kind-hearted, polished, and caring people. They display particular passion for Ahl al-Bayt (pbut), the issue which constitutes an opportunity for augmentation of bilateral interactions in the field of culture.”
