Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab:
Increasing insight; one of the Islam's teachings

According to the Hajj Information Center, Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab at the meeting of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and Supreme Leader Delegation Office employees which were held in cyberspace, referred to the Muslim wars in the month of Shawwal, including the Battle of Uhud and the Battle of Hamra al-Asad, and stated: On the fifth of Shawwal in the year 36 AH, Imam Ali (AS) moved from Kufa to Raqqa with 90,000 combat troops to counter Muawiyah's ambitions.
The Umayyad dynasty conspired and campaigned against the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) as much as they could; The Umayyad dynasty targeted the foundations of Islam and when they failed, they changed their approach and sought to strike at Islam from within by seizing control of Islam, Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims added.
Hujjat al-Islam Navvab emphasized: Abu Sufyan sent the polytheists to the Badr region in the battle of Badr and was present in Uhud and Trench Battles, but he did not achieve victory and success. In the eighth year of AH, he was forced to convert to Islam with the help of the Prophet of Islam and became a Muslim But he advised to his children that while the rule of Islam in the Third Caliphate was given to the Umayyad dynasty, they should keep this rule in their hands and not lose it and inherit it for their children.
Pointing out that Abu Sufyan set guidelines and work policies to fulfill his wishes, he said: His goal was to keep the people in ignorance about the basis and original goals of Islam and to make them happy in appearance; the thinking that the forces of the ISIL terrorist group are pursuing today.
The representative of Supreme Leader stating that Muawiyah was able to take public opinion in this context and apparently win over Imam Ali (AS) and his companions, added: He had told the representative of Imam Ali (AS) tell Ali (AS), "I am coming to fight you with those who see the male camel with their own eyes, but when I say testify that this camel is a female, everyone follows me and  testifies that this camel is a female.
Hujjat al-Islam Navvab mentioned performing Friday prayers on Wednesday and People refrain from protesting as another example of Muawiyah's actions to keep people blind and unaware. Muawiyah came to war with Imam Ali (as) with those who closed their eyes and ears and were one hundred percent obedient to him, He said.
The Supreme Leader emphasizes insight and increasing insight as a teaching and program of the Islamic religion, saying: "People should study and do everything with insight and not allow the character of the Umayyad dynasty and the methods of stagnation and lack of insight to progress and confirm their work" ; Hujjat al-Islam Navvab added.
The representative of Supreme Leader said Imam Ali (AS) tried hard but could not acquaint the people of Kufa with the knowledges as they should because these people had formed their minds with other thoughts.
