Payment of the fee difference in Hajj 98
The difference in the Hajj fee will be paid to the pilgrims who were sent to the land of revelation in 98.
As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, Deputy of Management Development and Resources of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Mohammad Azad, announced the settlement of Hajj 98 financial accounts and said: 12 billion Tomans of Hajj 98 operational budget will be returned to the pilgrims by the order of Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs.
He made these remarks at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, chaired by Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.
Due to the existence of different price groups in Hajj 98, about 120 to 165 thousand Tomans will be paid to more than 80 thousand pilgrims who were sent to the land of revelation in 1998, Mr. Azad said.
Chairman of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Ali Reza Rashidian, also said: "This amount will be deposited in the account of the pilgrim and in this regard, the necessary coordination with the operating bank is underway."
Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also said: the pilgrims of Hajj 98 should be informed via SMS so that the people whose Hajj account has been deactivated for some reason will be informed and it will be possible to deposit this amount to the account of the pilgrims as soon as possible.
Following this meeting, Hajj and Umrah Deputy to the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Akbar Rezaei Mr. Akbar Rezaei and officials in charge of following up Umrah trip in this organization and Umrah Saadat Company, reported on Saudi Arabia's new measures and programs to launch Umrah for domestic and foreign pilgrims.
Mr. Rezaei added: more than 5 million and 800 thousand people in the country have deposit slip for Umrah journey and are waiting for travel.
Due to the arriving of the first groups of foreign Umrah pilgrims in Medina yesterday by Saudi airline via UAE and Indonesia, It was decided at the meeting that in the next meeting of relevant bodies’ representatives, the possibility of sending Iranian pilgrims to Umrah will be examined and its results will be reported to the Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization so the necessary decision will be made in the High Council of Hajj.
It was announced at this meeting that according to the new instructions, Saudi Arabia performed the Umrah journey in the first phase for the domestic Umrah pilgrims from the middle of Safar to the 10th of Rabi al-Awwal. Also, the Umrah journey has started in the second phase from the 15th of Rabi al-Awwal in the form of defined instructions for foreign Umrah pilgrims.
At the beginning of the meeting, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage congratulating the week of Unity and the birth anniversary of the blessed Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and Imam Sadegh (AS), stated: Unity is the key to the success of the Islamic world, and colonialism knows this well, and during the years after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, it has always tried to prevent the realization of unity among Muslims.
"The enemies of Islam know that if Muslims achieve unity, they will prevent coercion and plunder, so they try to prevent peace in the Islamic world", He stressed.
