Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization programs to send pilgrims to Atabat

Due to the decrease in the number of coronavirus deaths and infection in Iran, the issue of pilgrimages trip to Iraq and Syria was discussed at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, at this meeting; which was chaired by Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab; deputy of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in Atabat affairs Hojjat al-Islam Sohbatollah Rahmani announced the organization's coordinations and future plans for Iranian pilgrims travel to Iraq and Syria.


Referring to the follow-ups and coordination with ministries and domestic organizations to send pilgrims to Iraq and Syria, he said: By the order of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization chairman, coordination with collections related to Hajj and Pilgrimage in these two countries is also being pursued and if the National Anti-Corona Headquarters agrees, the limited dispatch of Iranian pilgrims in the form of pilgrimage caravans will begin.


Chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Alireza Rashidian, also referring to the health instructions prepared for pilgrimage trips, said: the Hajj Organization, in cooperation with the Health Ministry experts has prepared these instructions in three languages: Persian, Arabic and English. These instructions have been provided to other parties and if agreed, pilgrimage trips will be planned.


Following this meeting, Hajj and Umrah Deputy to the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Akbar Rezaei explained the ruling of Saudi judicial authorities regarding the acquittal of bin Laden's company in the crane falling incident in the Holy Mosque and said: the ruling, issued last year, was recently upheld by a Saudi court of appeals.


The Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization continues to pursue the collection of bank checks issued to the families of the martyrs and injured of the crane crash through the Foreign Affairs Ministry and the Swiss Embassy, as the office of Saudi interest guardian, and we hope to achieve results, he added.


We are reviewing the text of Saudi Court of Appeals ruling to pursue the legal cases related to this incident, Rezaei said.


According to this report, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs also clarified: the rights of the martyrs and injured families in this incident should be pursued seriously.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stated: according to the documents of Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Board, the number of Iranians injured in the crane crash is much higher than the number for which Saudi Arabia has issued bank check compensation, and the issue should be followed up through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Swiss Embassy in Tehran and other routes.


Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs also at the beginning of this meeting, commemorating the Azar 25th , the day of research, considered research as the driving force for all systems and referring to the first recommendation of Supreme Leader in the second step statement on the importance of science and research stated: If there is a shortcoming in this field, the missions and goals of the Islamic system cannot be achieved in today's world.


Referring to the Israeli Prime Minister's concern about the speed of Iran's progress, he stressed: "We should not be satisfied with the current situation, we should optimize our programs, we must seriously pursue research and study."


He also asked the officials of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization to improve the Hajj programs in various fields by using the results of studies conducted in the seventeen committees of Hajj 98 pathology.
