Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs emphasized:
The need to facilitate pilgrimage of the pilgrims to Atabat-e-Aliyat
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stressed at the meeting of the Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization on the need to use the existing infrastructure in the holy shrines to facilitate pilgrimage of the pilgrims.
As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, at this meeting, which was held today under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, the Managing Director of Mehr-and-Mah presented a report on the activities and investments of this company in the pilgrimage cities of the Atabat-e-Aliyat.
Mehr-and-Mah Company has been set up with the participation of domestic and Iraqi banks and investors in line with the policies of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization to provide suitable facilities to facilitate the accommodation of pilgrims Atabat-e-Aliyat.
Mehr-and-Mah CEO Company Mr. Mohammad Hossein Torabizadeh, referring to the Iranian and Iraqi investors of Kosar International Hotel and Qasr al-Jannan in Najaf Ashraf, announced that 95% of Kosar hotel is equipped and ready to receive pilgrims in case of pilgrimage trips to Atabat-e- Aaliyat will begin.
Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization chairman also welcomed the expansion of the company's activities by attracting new investments. Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed out: the exploitation management and the benefits of such activities with proper planning are among the solutions to facilitate the pilgrimage of Iranian pilgrims.
Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization chairman Mr. Ali Reza Rashidian, reffering to the holding of joint economic commission between Iran and Iraq in coming days in Iran; informed at this meeting the consultation with Iraqi parties on the possibility of resuming pilgrimage to the holy shrines and Iraqi pilgrims to our country.
Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization is also consulting with the Ministries of Health and Interior in this regard to provide limited arrangements for sending pilgrims to Atabat if the relevant Iranian and Iraqi parties agree, he said.
The meeting continued with the report of Director General of Planning and Information Technology Office of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Mehran Farshid, on the measures taken to build the martyrs of Mecca and Mena memorial in Behesht Zahra (PBUH) and the latest situation of the organization.
According to the previous approvals, the ground for membership of all employees and retirees of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and also Supreme Leader Delegation Office in this company should be provided as soon as possible, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab and Mr. Rashidian emphasized.
Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs also at the beginning of this meeting, by listing the recent occasions, pointed to the Fatimiyya and narrated a narration from Hazrat Fatimah (PBUH) about the words of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and its value.
He added: "It is important for a person to be a supporter of the truth word, but does not need to say everything he knows to be true unless there is good in it."
