Hajj 1400 slogan was announced

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader's Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization; the slogan of Hajj 1400 was selected and announced as "Hajj, self-improvement, cohesion, Islamic authority and defense of Al-Aqsa Mosque."

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.

At this meeting, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, while explaining the axes of the slogan of future Hajj, stated: the keywords of this slogan have been selected of the suggestions received from different units and after the expert work, according to the recommendations of Supreme Leader in the Second Phase of the Revolution and current issues of Islamic Ummah and also international issues.

Supreme Leader’s representative called self-improvement one of the goals of Hajj and considered Islamic authority and solidarity as the solution to most important challenges of the Islamic world.

Pointing out that Islamic unity and greatness have also been taken into account in Islamic cohesion and authority, he added: "Considering the recent events in the Palestinian scene, Hajj is a unique opportunity for the Islamic Ummah to unite in defense of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinians."

In the continuation of this meeting, Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Chairman Mr. Ali Reza Rashidian, referring to the published news about the upcoming Hajj, stated once again: Saudi hajj Ministry has not commented clearly and definitively on the upcoming Hajj and Islamic countries are still waiting for the Hajj issues to be clarified.

Mr. Rashidian also pointing out that the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization is ready to launch a limited trip to Atabat-e-Aliyat in the form of pilgrimage caravans under the auspices of this organization and in compliance with health standards and instructions, requested that issuing permits to the relevant authorities for such trips be continued through the Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs.

Cultural deputy in the Supreme Leader Delegation Office, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Hossein Rokn Al-Dini reported at this meeting about the expertises done on the strategies for fulfilling the slogan of 1400 in this deputy and the deputies of international affairs and management development and resources, as well as the Hajj and Pilgrimage Research Institute, Mashar Cultural and Artistic Institute and other units affiliated to the Supreme Leader’s Delegation Office.

Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs added each of the deputies and managements should try to increase the supports and reduce the obstacles in relation to the programs and activities that are being implemented, considering the facilities, manpower and budget available, and to report about the actions taken on month of Esfand this year.

Hojjat al-Islam Navvab at the beginning of the meeting, pointed to the anniversary of Imam Ja'far Sadegh (AS) martyrdom and the demise of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the uprising of Khordad 15, and said: what we have at the jurisprudential aspect of Islam has been transmitted from Imam Sadegh (AS) and his disciples.
