Hajj and Pilgrimage officials respect to the martyrs of Mina and Mecca

Simultaneous with the lunar anniversary of the Mina and Mecca tragedy, Hajj and Pilgrimage officials attended the graves of these two disasters' martyrs to honor their memory.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, On the eve of Eid al-Adha and on the lunar anniversary of the martyrs of Mina tragic tragedy in 94 and Mecca in 66, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab and chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage organization Alireza Rashidian along with their deputies on tuesday (Tir 29), attended the graves of the martyrs of Mina, Mecca and Holy Defense in Behesht Zahra (PBUH) and paid their respects to them.


Head of Iranian pilgrims and the chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage organization while praising the great place of these precious martyrs, they called the divine degrees for these loved ones from God Almighty. They also recited the Fatiha and offering flowers.


On the sidelines of this program, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab praised the status of the oppressed martyrs of Mecca and the tragedy of Mina and named these loved ones as special guests of God.


The martyrs of Mecca and Mina are distinguished from other martyrs; they were martyred in the safe land of God, where everyone is safe, even the plants are safe and no one should pick plants while in Ihram, but these loved ones in Ihram clothes and while they were guests in the house of God and the land of revelation, were martyred oppressly, he emphasized.


Head of the Iranian pilgrims stated that Hajj and Pilgrimage officials are pursuing the rights of the Mina martyrs, adding: "We hope that corona virus will be eradicated soon and that Saudi officials will prepare the ground for the Pilgrims presence from the Islamic world in the land of revelation."


On the sidelines of the ceremony, chairman of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization said: "As the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution has said, "the memory of Mina martyrs should not be forgotten."


Stating that we are pursuing the rights of the Mina and Mecca martyrs," he said. "As the Hajj and Pilgrimage officials have prepared the necessary documents in the past and submitted them to the Saudi government, we also consider it our duty to follow up this issue until it will be clarified."


It is worth mentioning that thousands of pilgrims to the House of God, including 464 Iranian pilgrims in Ihram, were martyred in the bitter and sadness tragedy of Mina, which took place on the day of Eid al-Adha during the Hajj 1394.
