Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was held in the presence of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs.
As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization meeting was held under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab. The report of the working group of regulations on how to supply and transfer the currency required for Hajj and Pilgrimage operations was presented at the meeting.
Development, Management and Resources deputy of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Mohammad Azad explained at this meeting about the provisions of this regulation and the expertise done on how to provide foreign exchange for Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and how to transfer it to the host country. After discussion, the articles of the regulations were approved with some amendments and it was decided to submit them to the High Council of Hajj for final approval.
Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs pointed out that the sanctions have had an impact on the supply of currency in recent years, adding it is necessary that the government address the issue of Hajj and those involved in related areas, use solutions that reduce the cost of Hajj and pilgrimage operations in the interest of the pilgrims.
Chairman of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Ali Reza Rashidian at the meeting referred to the organization's follow-up regarding the Arbaeen trip.
Referring to the contacts and talks in Iran and Iraq, he said: "We have not yet been informed of the conclusions of Iraqis regarding the possibility of pilgrims' presence in Arbaeen Hosseini."
He added: the involved institutions emphasize on holding Arbaeen trip and have foreseen the preparations for sending moukebs (Bases providing services to pilgrims), agents and pilgrims.
At the beginning of the meeting, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, while commemorating the government week and the memory of martyrs Raja'i and Bahonar, said behavior, life and efforts of these two great martyrs in their responsibilities should be a model for the servants of this country.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab referring to Imam Khomeini's advice on self-improvement, added: Martyr Raja'i's morality, character and simplicity in life were exemplary and different from other statesmen, and his life contains valuable lessons.
Martyr Bahonar was also present wherever was needed and helped the Islamic Revolution machine to move by trying in different trenches, he added.
