The latest news and developments regarding dispatch to Arbaeen Hosseini ceremony were reviewed at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization meets.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was held in the presence of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.

In this meeting, the report of the pathology working group of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization representative offices in Saudi Arabia and Iraq was presented and with the explanations of Mr. Davood Bagheri, in charge of coordinating the secretariat of 20 working groups in reviewing the executive processes in the field of Hajj and Pilgrimage, and Gholamreza Rezaei in charge of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization representative office working group; the duties, activities and actions of the representative office in Saudi Arabia were reviewed and discussed.

Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Ali Reza Rashidian emphasized at the meeting: all actions and activities of the representative offices of this organization abroad should be directed in order to provide better services to pilgrims and the optimal use of existing capacities should be considered in host countries.

According to this report, the latest news and developments regarding dispatching to the Arbaeen ceremony were reviewed during the meeting.

After Mr. Rashidian's report on today's approvals in the Arbaeen headquarters, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs clarified: due to the existing restrictions, it was better to give a quota to certain pilgrims, such as the defenders of sanctuary and health, who are interested in attending the ceremony, and some of them were sent by lottery.

He added: Sending the owners of moukebs (Bases providing services to pilgrims) and members of the Arbaeen committees as servants of Husseini pilgrims make sense along with the eager pilgrims and it would have been better if this had been observed in the allocation of the limited quota by Iraq.

Iraq has agreed to the arrival of 30,000 Iranian pilgrims and 10,000 pilgrims from Arab countries and other countries to participate in Arbaeen Hosseini ceremony this year, and has announced that these pilgrims will enter through the air border and having negative PCR test.

According to this report, at the beginning of the meeting, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage stated in a speech commemorating the memory of the Shahrivar 17th martyrs and said: 17th Shahrivar is the Ashura of Islamic Revolution, loved ones were martyred on this day who overthrew Taghut and broke the arrogance of the imperial regime's leaders.

The blood of the 17th Shahrivar's martyrs shook the palace of oppressors and made them understand that they ought to leave and about five months later the blossoms of the Islamic Revolution blew and the Imam Khomeini (RA) entered the country and the morning of Islamic Revolution's victory dawned, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added.
