Arbaeen Pilgrimage is the Shiite identity
Head of the Iranian pilgrims, stating that the pilgrimage is done in different ways, emphasized: all pilgrimages have many commonalities in oblation, but the Arbaeen pilgrimage is a Shiite identity and one of the Shiite symbols.
As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, at the inauguration ceremony of Radio Arbaeen, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab mentioned the place of pilgrim and pilgrimage from the point of view of the pure Imams and considered it very important and valuable.
He added: The place of pilgrim is special, as we have in narrative that Imam Sadegh (AS) prayed for the pilgrims of the Imam Hussein (AS) shrine. It is also narrated on the oblation of pilgrimage that a pilgrim who visits the Holy Prophet (PBUH), Imam Ali (AS) and Hasanain (AS) has a right in the sight of the Prophet (PBUH) and the Holy Prophet of Islam himself goes to visit him and takes him.
Considering pilgrimage as a factor for spiritual communication and reducing human beings difficulties and rescuing them from troubles, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs specified: Pilgrimage with knowledge is the relationship between the pilgrim and a perfect and exemplary human being and causes connection and love.
Stating that pilgrimage is done in different ways, including remote and close pilgrimage, absolute pilgrimage, special pilgrimage, special day pilgrimage and district pilgrimage, he emphasized: all these pilgrimages have a lot commonalities in oblation, but the Arbaeen pilgrimage is a Shiite identity and one of the signs of Shiism, and for this reason it has been given a special place and value.
Referring to the launch of Radio Arbaeen, head of the Iranian pilgrims pointed to the role of this media in publishing and disseminating religious and Shiite teachings and reminded: media has a very important position and can have a great impact on the domestic and international arenas for the audience, so this position must be used properly and accurately.
He referred to the conditions announced by Iraq for the presence of Iranian pilgrims and other Islamic countries in the Arbaeen ceremony and said: This year, the situation of Arbaeen is different from previous years, and the whole nation of the Islamic world is grateful for the hospitality of the Iraqi brothers and sisters during the previous years. We know that they are in restrictions, but this year our hearts and theirs are sad, because with all the announced restrictions, only 30,000 people from Iran and 10,000 people from other countries have been considered, of course, this statistic is in the same spirit of generosity. This is while Saudi Arabia performed Hajj for the second year without the presence of pilgrims from outside Saudi Arabia, and did not consider any quotas for Iran and ... and limited it to its own country.
Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, pointing out that in the ceremony of Arbaeen people with different religions, sects and flags from different countries attend, noted: Arbaeen is not the Muslims and Shiites Arbaeen, Arbaeen belongs to all the free people of the world.
It is worth mentioning that the inauguration ceremony of Radio Arbaeen was held simultaneously with the first night of the Safar month in the presence of the Arbaeen headquarters' officials and the directors of national media in the Soura Hall of the Arts Center.
