Head of the Iranian Pilgrims emphasis on following up the Arbaeen pilgrims’ problems

Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs visited different units of the Atabat-e Aliyat Department in Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in an unannounced visit and while talking to the enthusiasts of Arbaeen pilgrimage, emphasized on solving the problems of pilgrims.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and Supervisor of Iranian Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, along with chairman of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Alireza Rashidian today unawarely visited the steps and measures related to sending Arbaeen pilgrims.


According to the report, during the visit, which was also attended by deputy head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in Atabat affairs Hojjat al-Islam Sohbatollah Rahmani , head of the Iranian pilgrims talked to a group of pilgrims about how to receive services.


Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs was acquainted closely with the process of registration and issuance of Arbaeen pilgrims' visas this year, and visited visited different units of the Atabat-e Aliyat Department in Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.


On the sidelines of this visit, a number of pilgrims complained about the way of registration and lack of proper information about some problems in the "Samah" system. Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs urged the relevant authorities to consider their requests in a special way and give a convincing answer to the clients.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stating that only 60,000 Iranian pilgrims will be sent to the Arbaeen ceremony this year, noted: Unfortunately, due to the spread of Corona virus and restrictions imposed for public health, less than two percent of 3.2 million population of the Arbaeen pilgrims in 1998 will visit this year, and we hope to see the presence of millions of pilgrims in Arbaeen once again with the eradication of Corona virus.
