Latest actions of dispatching committee of Arbaeen’s central headquarters were reviewed at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was held under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab and the latest actions of dispatching committee of Arbaeen’s central headquarters for sending pilgrims were reviewed at the meeting.


Chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Ali Reza Rashidian presented statistics on the number of pilgrimage enthusiasts at this meeting who have registered in the Samah system, and said: "Before noon today, more than 52,800 people have been registered, 58% of whom are less than 50 The other 42% are over 50 years old.


Noting that about four thousand new quotas have entered the registration system, he explained how to allocate this quota and added: It is expected that the registration process of Arbaeen pilgrims will be completed in the next 48 hours.


According to the report, in the continuation of this meeting, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs referring to the quota allocated to our country for this year's Arbaeen ceremony, stressed the need for extensive and transparent information to pilgrims and called for pathology of the registration and pilgrims dispatching process to fix the bugs and proper planning in the coming years.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed out considering that tens of thousands people have to go to Iraq by air in the next few days, the status of flights should be reflected to Arbaeen headquarters officials as soon as possible so that a suitable solution can be found for transferring pilgrims to Iraq.


He expressed hope that with the efforts of all those involved in Arbaeen Hosseini, the Iranian pilgrims would easily attend the Arbaeen ceremony and return to the country with an acceptable pilgrimage and safely.


Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs at the beginning of the meeting, referring to the Sacred Defense Week and the anniversary of the Mina martyrs, he commemorated the sacrifices of the Islam heroes and the martyrs of Mina, and described the conquests and victories of the imposed war as very significant and a divine blessing.


In the eight years of sacred defense, people from all walks of life played a role and the Muslim and devoted nation of Iran with self-sacrifice, solidarity and cooperation won against world powers and supporters of Saddam's regime who supported and equipped this criminal regime with petro dollars, he added.
