The reports of dispatching, cultural and educational committees of Arbaeen Hosseini was reviewed at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization’s meeting was held under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab and the latest actions of dispatching committee of Arbaeen’s central headquarters for sending pilgrims were reviewed at the meeting.


The reports of Arbaeen dispatching, cultural and educational committees affiliated to the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and Supreme Leader Delegation Office was presented and reviewed at the meeting.


At the beginning of the meeting, chairman of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and head of the dispatching committee of Arbaeen central headquarters Mr. Ali Reza Rashidian, reported on the measures taken by the committee related to sending Iranian pilgrims to the Arbaeen walk and pointed out its strengths and weaknesses.


He noted that despite the allocation 60,000 quotas, estimates indicate that more people went to Iraq and there were inconsistencies along land borders.


Chairman of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization continued by stating a report from his trip to Atabat-e-Aliyat , stating: Regarding the dispatch and services, a committee will be formed and issues and problems will be reviewed.


He also said that the number of patients admitted in Arbaeen this year was very limited, referring to the efforts made to send Iranian pilgrims to the holy shrines, and expressed hope that by using the capacity of more than 2,500 pilgrimage offices, the field of recruitment and dispatch Pilgrims will be provided in the form of various pilgrimage packages in accordance with their requests in the future, and dispatches to the Atabat-e-Aliyat will be re-launched.


Deputy head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in Atabat affairs Hojjat al-Islam Sohbatollah Rahmani and also chairman of the Arbaeen Cultural and Educational Committee Hojjat al-Islam Hamid Ahmadi reported on the characteristics of this year's Arbaeen ceremony and the activities carried out in the Arbaeen’s executive and cultural fields.


Chairman of the Arbaeen Cultural and Educational Committee said honoring 300 Iraqi Moukebs, sending media and documentary teams, artists, university professors and missionaries, narration groups, holding lectures and also praying and pilgrimages ceremonies, and launching 30 platforms for audiences are parts of the activities carried out in the Arbaeen’s executive and cultural fields.


Deputy head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in Atabat affairs also pointed out the problems in air and land dispatches of pilgrims and stressed the need for mutual and timely cooperation of the committees involved in the Arbaeen area.


At this meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab referring to the expectations of Arbaeen pilgrims from the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and the Supreme Leader Delegation Office, stated: In the pathology of this year's ceremony, strengths and weaknesses should be identified and appropriate strategies present to eliminate weakness and bolster Strengths.


Discrepancies in actions that should be taken in the committees call into question the performance of the Hajj Organization, while coherent and coordinated work can prevented this problems, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs added.


He added: "Arbaeen is a national action and a national action needs national support and the most suitable place to manage this ceremony is the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization."


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab at the beginning of this meeting expressed his condolences on the death of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the martyrdom of Imam Hassan and Imam Reza (PBUH) and said: The Prophet of Islam attracted people with his morals, and this characteristic was also present in his descendants.
